It’s the moment you’ve all been waiting for.

Tim Tebow. In the Wildcat. At some point in time.

Well, that time is Sunday.

Rex Ryan said "there’s no doubt" the Jets finally unveil their Wildcat in this weekend's regular-season opener against Buffalo.

"If we don't, everybody's going to be like, 'Wait a second...You guys have been (talking) about this Wildcat and we haven't even seen one snap of it," joked the coach.

But as the Jets go about putting the finishing touches on their version of the formation, the Bills will be doing the same in Orchard Park.

Buffalo's quarterbacks coach David Lee helped Tony Sparano install the Wildcat during his time in Miami, back when Lee was the Dolphins offensive coordinator. The Bills also have former Jets wide receiver Brad Smith, who was a record-breaking quarterback at Missouri. In other words, he's their version of Tim Tebow.

"Any time you've got a weapon like Brad Smith, yeah, you have to be prepared for it," Ryan said. "We'll benefit from having to face Tebow and the Wildcat here. And they'll benefit from having to face Brad. You might not be surprised necessarily by what they do with the Wildcat, but you still have to prepare for it."

Smith, who suffered a groin injury in last week's preseason game against Detroit, did not practice Monday.
