Rex unsure if Revis will face Dolphins
Only time will tell if the Jets will be without Darrelle Revis for a second straight game.
Rex Ryan didn’t have a status update on his All Pro cornerback, who did not fly to Pittsburgh this past weekend because of a concussion.
“I don’t think you can assume that” he’ll play, the coach said of Revis, who was accidentally kicked in the head by teammate Bart Scott during the Jets’ Week 1 win over Buffalo.
“He has to – to the NFL standards – pass those tests right now,” Ryan said. “He looks to be doing well, so hopefully he will be playing.”
Sunday’s loss in Pittsburgh – Revis’ hometown – was only the fourth game he’s missed in his six-year career.

Ryan said he didn’t have injury updates on running back Shonn Greene (who left the game early in the second quarter after taking a hit to the head. Greene, who was slow to get up and appeared woozy jogging off after the play, returned in the third.
…Ryan offered no additional information on the status of fullback John Conner, who did not return to the game after reinjuring his right knee in the third quarter. Conner underwent an MRI Monday morning, but the results of the test are unknown at this point.
…Ryan also didn’t give an update on tight end Dustin Keller (hamstring) and linebacker Bryan Thomas (hamstring) – both of whom didn’t play against the Steelers – or quarterback Mark Sanchez, whose accuracy dropped significantly after taking a helmet-to-helmet hit from Lawrence Timmons in the second quarter.
