1. Bill Belichick

It would be some irony if he returns and becomes the all-time winningest coach while leading the Jets, the franchise he walked out on in 2000. They have to make the call.

2. Mike Vrabel

A former Belichick player who had a winning record in his six seasons as Titans coach. He should be near the top of the list.

3. Ben Johnson

The Lions' creative offensive coordinator would help bring the Jets’ offense into the modern era. They need that.

4. Bobby Slowik

The Texans coordinator and New Jersey native is a rising young offensive mind who comes from the Kyle Shanahan tree.

5. Jeff Ulbrich

The players love him, and he has proved himself as a defensive coordinator. With a good finish as Jets interim coach, he could be in line to stay.
