Sanchez: It's been fun, but I will throw an INT

FLORHAM PARK, N.J. - Mark Sanchez has been one of the NFL's top quarterbacks these past three games, zipping passes around the field seemingly with ease and taking great care of the ball.
The Jets' second-year signal caller leads the league with a 117.8 quarterback rating in their last three contests, completing 50 of 82 attempts for 637 yards. He's tossed eight touchdowns and hasn't thrown an interception in a career-high 103 attempts, all key factors in the Jets' three-game winning streak.
"It's been a fun little ride we've had going," Sanchez said Wednesday. "We're just trying to keep it up. I don't think about it too much. It's not a worse feeling than wanting to beat my head into the wall, 'Oh, I can't throw an interception.' They are inevitable. It's going to happen at some point.
"So with that attitude, you have nothing to worry about. Just take care of the ball as best you can, have fun playing like you have been and be ready to go."
Clowney was surprised
David Clowney said Monday's release was unexpected because he thought he was safe after he initially re-signed with the Jets after Week 1.
The wide receiver, who signed with the Panthers Tuesday, doesn't think the Jets ever gave him a real shot at being a complete receiver. "I think sometimes when you're with a certain organization, they put a stamp on you, regardless whether it's good or bad, you have that stamp and they put you in that role," Clowney told reporters in Charlotte, N.C. "Being with the Jets, my stamp was I'm only a deep threat guy."
