Woody has tall order in Packers' Matthews

FLORHAM PARK, N.J. - Damien Woody is fully aware of the difficult challenge in front of him.
The Jets' right tackle gets the unenviable task of facing Green Bay linebacker Clay Matthews for the better part of 60 minutes when the teams meet on Sunday. Matthews leads the league with 8 1/2 sacks.
"He predominantly lines up over me, so I'm going to be going against him pretty much the whole day," Woody said Wednesday. "He's a good football player. He leads the league in sacks and plus I think he missed one or two games. And that's what makes it even more impressive. He's a high-motor guy. He definitely plays to the whistle. So it's going to be a good matchup . . . "
Matthews' sacking ability isn't the only concern. "They have this package called the 'Psycho' package, where they have one defensive lineman and they have a whole bunch of linebackers," Woody said. "And they just roam around and basically just try to confuse you. It's a pretty complex package. They do a lot of things in that defensive scheme and we've just got to be ready for it."
In praise of the Packers
Darrelle Revis practiced in full and the Jets are glad his left hamstring is back to 100 percent since they face the Packers.
Green Bay (4-3) is eighth in passing (250 yards per game) and Aaron Rodgers has thrown for 1,841 yards and 12 TDs.
"Their passing game is amazing," Revis said. "Aaron Rodgers, I think, is one of the best quarterbacks in the league and they've got some great wide receivers, too - Greg Jennings, Donald Driver. They've been there for a long time and they've been making a lot of plays.
"We've got to hold up in the back end this week and try to get Aaron Rodgers as well with our pressure."
Extra points
LB Calvin Pace (foot) was limited in practice, but Rex Ryan said, "He'll be fine." . . . The Packers claimed former Jets DT Howard Green off waivers.
