Michael Vick says he's more comfortable with running Eagles' offense

BETHLEHEM, Pa. -- Michael Vick is feeling a lot better about his game these days, even if the regular season is still more than a month away.
"Last year at this time, I would say I was about 25-30 percent comfortable with what we were doing," the Eagles quarterback said after practice Wednesday. "Now, I'm about 90 percent. That other 10 percent is just learning."
Vick looked comfortable running the Eagles' offense in a fully padded practice at the team's Lehigh University training facility. Last year, Vick had 18 TD passes and 14 INTs after a superb season in 2010 in which he threw 21 touchdowns and just six interceptions.
"It's like night and day," Vick said. "Last year, I really couldn't come out and run the offense the way I did [Wednesday]. I could run the offense, but as far as protections and making calls in the passing game, picking up the blitz, that was tough. It was all new language for everybody. Now it's easier."
Vick said he has recently watched film of former 49ers QB Steve Young as a way to improve his own game. "He made himself great, and I have to do the same for myself as far as managing the game, showing poise and making good decisions."
