Long Island's Miguel Maysonet had a fairly quiet outing in the Cleveland Browns' second preseason game.

The Riverhead native and Stony Brook alum played in the fourth quarter of the Browns' 24-6 win over the Detroit Lions on Thursday night. He had four carries for a total of five yards.

Maysonet had a remarkable high school and college career on Long Island, but went undrafted in April's NFL Draft. He was signed immediately after the draft by the Philadelphia Eagles, who waived him before training camp. Maysonet was then claimed by the Browns, where he has been fighting for a roster spot amid a talented backfield.

Maysonet and the Browns will play their next game against the Indianapolis Colts on Aug. 24 at Lucas Oil Stadium.
