Times Square to host end zone dance contest
Neil Best here with a guest post. Thanks for having me, Glauber.
The nice folks who will bring you a second season of "Necessary Roughness" beginning Wednesday on USA Network will host an end zone dance competition in Times Square from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday.
Among the prizes are $25,000 and/or a chance to appear in a USA promo.
(There also is an online component to the competition in which people can submit an audition video via the show's Facebook page through June 24.)
Those brave enough to audition live Tuesday will be given assorted goodies and perhaps meet Callie Thorne, the star of the show, who is scheduled to attend.
The show, in case you have forgotten, is based on the true story of Donna Dannenfelser, a former Long Islander and psychologist who used to work with the Jets as well as other pro athletes.
