Washington Redskins fans 'Hogettes' to retire

The infamous group of Washington Redskins' fans called the Hogettes, who have worn pig snouts and dresses to Redskins’ games for 30 years, have decided to retire.
“It has been an honor being a part of the greatest 12th Man fans in the NFL,” the Hogettes said in a statement on their website. “We will forever be Redskins’ fans and cheer for our beloved team. It is a new era and we will continue to support RG3 and his teammates. HAIL TO THE REDSKINS!!!”
Founder Michael Torbert and the rest of the Hogettes began their act in 1983 as a way to entertain patients at children’s hospitals. The group’s statement added that it will continue to raise money for children’s charities.
