Can I still get tickets?
Yes, you may purchase them at the ticket window at the main gate. All tickets include free parking and free shuttle transportation to the admission gate. There are many ticket packages, but a daily grounds ticket is $20 for practice sessions and $40 for championship rounds. Children 17-and-under are free when accompanied by a ticketed adult (up to nine children per ticketed adult).
What's the schedule?
Championship play is Thursday-Sunday. After 36 holes, the field is cut to the low 60 scores and ties. For the first two rounds, players will go off the first and 10th tees.
Is there a playoff?
If the tournament is tied after four rounds, there will be an immediate three-hole playoff. If that playoff results in a tie, play continues hole-by-hole until a champion is determined.
When do gates open?
At 6:30 a.m. (they close at 8 p.m. through Friday). Gates open at 7 a.m. for the final two rounds.
Are there grandstands?
More than 3,000 grandstand seats are available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Can I bring my camera?
Only during practice rounds, today and tomorrow. Cameras banned during championship play.
What about disabled fans?
Accessible parking is available in the public lot. Wheelchair accessible vehicles will be available to transport spectators to and from the main entrance. Scooters will be provided free of charge on a first-come, first-serve basis at the Main Admissions Gate.
Where do I buy souvenirs?
At the merchandise tent inside the Main Admissions Gate (cash or major credit/debit card; no checks). There is also an ATM available here.
Where are the restrooms?
Restrooms (disabled accessible) are located around the course, mostly adjacent to concession areas.
Is there Will Call?
Yes, at the main entrance. Shuttle dropoff from the parking lot is close to Will Call. No ticket needed to use the spectator shuttle.
If I need first aid?
There are two first aid stations with medical care provided by North Shore-LIJ.
Are mobile devices allowed?
Spectators can use these devices for limited purposes in designated areas. Volume must be set to silent/vibrate at all times. Calls cannot be received or placed in any area within earshot of players, including grandstands or other viewing areas along rope lines. Video and audio recording IS NOT permitted.
What items are prohibited?
Laptops and/or full-size computers (tablets and other mobile devices are permitted); cameras and camcorders (except on practice days, but no camerabags allowed); bags/backpacks larger than 8" x 8" x 8"; cases/ covers (such as chair or umbrella covers); signs, posters and banners; TVs and radios; outside food/beverage; containers or coolers; pets; lawn/folding armchairs; bicycles; ladders; metal-spiked golf shoes (soft-spikes encouraged); all weapons (regardless of permit).
What about strollers?
Parents with small children may bring strollers and diaper bags (items subject to inspection).
Where is Lost and Found?
At the main entry. Sebonack Golf Club is not responsible for any lost or stored items.
Where can I buy food?
Concession and beverage stands are located throughout grounds.
And alcoholic beverages?
You must be 21 or older (ID required) to purchase them.
Can I get autographs?
There is a no-autograph policy. Spectators should not approach any player for an autograph from the time a player is en route to her first tee until the completion of her round (including practice).
HOW TO GET THERE: Sebonack Golf Club is located in Southampton.From points west of Southampton take Sunrise Highway (27) to Magee St. Turn right onto Magee St., stay right at the fork in the road, turn right into parking area. Free shuttle busses will take fans to the course.
