Diamond stars: Top performers in Long Island softball and baseball

SOFTBALL
Kayla Denino, North Babylon: Denino went 5-for-5 with three runs and three RBIs in a 17-4 win over Newfield.
Addison Devery, Connetquot: Devery hit two grand slams in a 10-2 win over Whitman. She finished the regular season as Long Island’s home run leader with 11.
Sam Dolan, Massapequa: Dolan went 3-for-3 with a home run, two doubles, four RBIs and three runs in a 16-2 win over Port Washington.
Bella Lundquist, Sayville: Lundquist went 2-for-3 with a grand slam, a double and two runs in a 9-8 win over Islip.
Autumn Malone, Mineola: Malone went 2-for-3 with three RBIs and struck out eight and allowed four hits in a complete-game shutout, 8-0 win over Wheatley.
Erin McDaid, Smithtown West: McDaid struck out 10 and went 2-for-2 with a home run, two walks and three runs in a 14-2 win over Eastport-South Manor. She struck out eight batters and recorded her 700th career strikeout in a complete-game 1-0 win over West Babylon.
Sophia Nicastro, Calhoun: Nicastro went 3-for-4 with two solo home runs and struck out three in four innings in a 9-1 win over Long Beach.
Lauren O'Brien, Kellenberg: O’Brien went 4-for-6 with a double, two RBIs, a run and a stolen base in two wins over Holy Trinity.
Eva Roman, Smithtown East: Roman struck out four in one-hitter and went 3-for-5 with an RBI and a run in a 10-0 win over Northport.
Brooke Simmons, Glen Cove: Simmons struck out 12 in two-hitter and scored the winning run in the sixth inning of a 1-0 decision over Calhoun.
BASEBALL
Lucas Adams & Joey Singer, Great Neck North: They threw a combined no-hitter, an 8-1 win over Westbury.
Quinn Fiene, Sachem North: He hit a walk-off RBI single in a 6-5 win over Half Hollow Hills West.
Anthony Gerbasio, West Babylon: He struck out seven in a one-hitter, a 9-0 win over Bellport.
Lucas Hubner, Conner DeLauzon & Evan Schickler, Smithtown East: They threw a combined no-hitter, a 6-0 win over Copiague. Hubner struck out 11 in four innings, DeLauzon struck out five in 2 1/3 and Schickler struck out one in 1/3.
Gregory Inserillo, Connetquot: He pitched a scoreless seventh inning for the series-clinching save in a 6-3 win over Commack.
Matt Lerose, Half Hollow Hills East: He went 4-for-4 with two home runs and four RBIs in a 13-3 win over Huntington.
Elijah Outlaw, West Babylon: He hit a two-out walk-off double in the eighth inning of a 2-1 win over Bellport.
Joe Perri, Comsewogue: He hit a walk-off two-run home run in a 4-3 win over Harborfields.
Jesse Kostulias & Luke Martinez, Mineola: They threw a combined no-hitter, a 1-0 win over Lynbrook. Kostulias struck out nine in five innings and Martinez struck out two in two.
Matthew Kurz, Clarke: He hit a two-out two-run home run in the top of the seventh inning and a two-out RBI double in the fifth of a 4-2 win over Wantagh.
