1. Brentwood (20-1-2): The Indians had an arduous road to winning the state championship for the second time in three seasons. They beat a good Scarsdale team in the state Class AA semifinals, 1-0. Johnathan Interiano scored and Herson Guzman made 11 saves. Brentwood beat Baldwinsville in the finals, 2-0. Interiano and Frank Guzman scored for the Indians. Brentwood appeared in the state finals for the fifth time in six seasons.

2. Chaminade (18-1-3): The Flyers won their fourth state championship and third CHSAA title in five seasons. Jon Stallone scored with 3:54 left in the second overtime in a 1-0 win over St. Francis Prep in the state final. Kory Seibt scored with 1:32 left in regulation in a 1-0 win over Iona Prep in the semifinals.

3. St. Anthony’s (15-2-3): The Friars lost in the CHSAA final to Chaminade, 1-0.

4. Sayville (20-1-1): Sayville won the state Class A championship with a 2-1 win in the final over Pittsford Mendon.

5. Commack (17-2-1): Commack lost in the county final to Brentwood and was the only team to beat the Indians this season.

6. Massapequa (12-4-3): The Chiefs were co-champions in Nassau Class AA and advanced to the LIC by winning on penalty kicks, 3-0.

7. Farmingdale (10-2-6): The Dalers were co-champions of Nassau Class AA with Massapequa and lost in penalty kicks.

8. Smithtown West (16-1-2): Smithtown West lost in the Suffolk Class AA semifinals.

9. Half Hollow Hills West (16-1): Hills West was undefeated until falling to East Islip in the Suffolk Class AA quarterfinals.

10. Friends Academy (15-1-2): The Quakers won the state Class C championship for the second consecutive season, outscoring opponents 8-2 upstate in two games.
