Santoli wins it for Kings Park in OT
Emily Santoli scored on a cross from Luciana Timpone with 4:48 left in the second overtime to lift Kings Park to a 3-2 win over West Babylon in Suffolk League V girls soccer Thursday.
The second annual Lauren Strong Game was played in honor of former Kings Park junior varsity soccer player Lauren Lenardi, who was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer in 2010. Lenardi, who turned 16 yesterday, was honored during a halftime ceremony.
Brittany Mueller and Genevieve Carpenter also scored for Kings Park. Kali Moss scored with 56 seconds left in regulation for West Babylon to force overtime.North Babylon 3, Smithtown East 2: Allison Kennedy scored off an assist from Alena Gannon with six minutes left to win it for North Babylon in League III. Emily Scheuer and Kelsie Brostek also scored for North Babylon.
