Brett Stewart ran for 94 yards and three touchdowns, and completed 4 of 12 passes for 50 yards and a score to lead Garden City over New Hyde Park, 28-12, Saturday in Nassau II.

The junior, making his first start, had a 35-yard touchdown run on the Trojans' first possession.

Garden City led 14-0 in the first quarter and threatened to score again, but New Hyde Park's Christian Trasolini returned an interception 89 yards to set up Franchesco Terrero's 3-yard score that cut the lead to 14-6. Stewart ran for two more TDs later, including a 15-yarder on fourth-and-goal with 7:20 left in the fourth quarter. That drive was set up by Justin Guterding's interception.

Elmont 26, Herricks 6: Calvin Aristide ran for 98 yards and two touchdowns on 10 carries to lead Elmont. Jean Paul added a score.

Elmont allowed a touchdown on Herricks' opening drive, but the defense and special teams dominated from that point.

Jean's 23-yard touchdown tied the score at 6 in the first quarter. Daniel Crawford, on a punt return, broke toward the right sideline and took it back 48 yards for the go-ahead score. Crawford also had a sack, and Matt Brutus picked up two.

Reggie Pierre had two interceptions, and Paul had another.

Carey 30, Mepham 0: Andrew Ris threw two of his three touchdowns in the first quarter to lead Carey. Ris completed 7 of 15 passes for 130 yards.

Nick Spillane had four receptions for 92 yards and two touchdowns. Matt Robison rushed five times for 57 yards and also had two interceptions.

Long Beach 32, Bellmore JFK 6: J.T.Forkin ran for 106 yards and a touchdown and had a 38-yard touchdown reception to lead Long Beach. Adam Salvadori completed 5 of 9 passes for 135 yards and two touchdowns. Chris Parler had three catches for 71 yards and a touchdown, and Billy Kane carried four times for 45 yards and a touchdown.
