Brian McKeen throws two TD passes for Connetquot

Brian McKeen completed 12 of 16 passes for 274 yards, threw two touchdown passes and rushed for another for Connetquot (4-0) as it defeated Half Hollow Hills East, 47-26, in Suffolk I. James Higgins had 186 yards and a TD on seven catches and added two interceptions. Mike Grimaldi returned the opening kickoff 95 yards for a TD. Danny Pamlanye made seven tackles and Ryan Renfroe also had seven tackles, three for a loss, and two sacks.

Northport 42, Bay Shore 24: John Trainer rushed for 170 yards on 20 carries and three TDs to lead Northport (2-2) over Bay Shore (1-3). Sean Gilroy threw for 160 yards and two TDs. Matt Nicolai and Alex Egglinger each forced two red-zone turnovers in the fourth to prevent a Bay Shore comeback.

Brentwood 19, Central Islip 14:Right guard Jose Jimenez's kickout block sprung Marc Gatewood for a 17-yard TD with 1:03 left in the third quarter to put Brentwood (1-3) ahead for good over Central Islip (0-4). Gatewood had 14 carries for 45 yards and two touchdowns and added seven tackles. Lavelle Hall's 20-yard pass to Christian Jahkah on fourth-and-11 midway through the first quarter set up Gatewood's 7-yard run with 5:24 left. Hall added a 6-yard TD run with 52 seconds left in the first half to give the Indians a 13-8 lead.

Floyd 38, Longwood 6: A.J. Otranto completed 13 of 19 passes for 252 yards and threw three of his four TD passes in the first half to lead Floyd (3-1) over Longwood (2-2). Jawan Genkins made four catches for 73 yards and two TDs. Marc Coles made six tackles.

Patchogue-Medford 24, Lindenhurst 13: Jack Keough had two TD runs and Dominic Fucci added a 74-yard scoring run during a 21-point third quarter for Patchogue-Medford (2-2) on Friday. Fucci finished with 251 yards on 21 carries and Keough had 85 rushing yards on 11 carries as Pat-Med totaled 421 yards on the ground. Dan Tierney had 10 solo tackles, Tyler Conlon had eight stops and a sack and Cody Casagrande had eight tackles, a sack and forced a fumble.
