The Spartans had four special teams TDs and more than 300 return yards in a 56-21 win over Roslyn. Justus Nathaniel, Osagie Ekhator and Isiah Davis each had kickoff returns for a TD and Eric Burkett had an 80-yard punt return for a score.

DAKIM GRIFFIN, Half Hollow Hills East

He ran for 314 yards and four TDs on 35 carries in a 35-21 win over Northport.

JOE HACKAL, Newfield

He rushed 19 times for 192 yards and two scores and caught five passes for 71 yards in a 35-34 win over Connetquot.

JAMES M. HANNON, Newfield

He led two long TD drives in the final four minutes, capped by a 10-yard scoring pass to Dylan Smith with 42 seconds left for a 35-34 comeback win over Connetquot. He completed 10 of 13 passes for 120 yards and rushed for 66 yards and a 3-yard scoring run.

NICK LA ROSA, North Shore

The junior back had 291 total yards, including 230 rushing with three TDs in a 34-13 win over Island Trees.

BRENDAN LEAHY, Kellenberg

The senior running back had 77 yards rushing on 16 carries and two TDs in a 55-49 triple overtime loss to Cardinal Hayes. He also had an 11-yard scoring catch.

CHARLIE MCKEE, Oceanside

His 311 passing yards gave him 8,166 in his career, breaking the all-time Nassau record of 8,103, previoulsy held by Lawrence’s Joe Capobianco.

CHRIS NARONIS, Floral Park

He rushed for 202 yards and five TDs and was 8-for-13 passing for 163 yards in a 43-29 win over Division.

JUSTYN ORTIZ, North Babylon

He ran for 172 yards and four TDs on 10 carries in a 55-22 win over Smithtown East.

MIKE ROSS, Connetquot

The quarterback completed 13 of 18 passes for 244 yards and three TDs in a 35-34 loss to Newfield.

BRENDAN STAUB, Garden City

The defensive end had 11 tackles, including four for a loss in a 49-6 win over previously unbeaten MacArthur.

MARK WINKLER, Hewlett

He ran for 211 yards and a TD on 16 carries and passed for 71 yards and a score in a 33-14 win over Lynbrook. He also returned a fumble 41 yards for a score.

OWEN SPIZUOCO, Westhampton

He had five receptions for 157 yards and a TD and rushed for an 8-yard score in a 27-21 win over Hauppauge.
