John Magliocco ran for two touchdowns and caught a 15-yard touchdown pass from Ryan Aughavin with 3:02 left in the fourth quarter to extend North Shore’s lead to two scores in its 35-21 win over Cold Spring Harbor in Nassau IV yesterday.
Nick Liotta recovered a fumble on Cold Spring Harbor’s next drive during a fake punt attempt to secure the victory for the Vikings (5-3).
East Rockaway 42, Mineola 14: James Tierney rushed 13 times for 140 yards and two touchdowns to lead East Rockaway (4-4). Tierney added an 80-yard kickoff return for a touchdown in the third quarter. Colin Barnes had 78 yards and two touchdowns on 16 carries.
Seaford 28, West Hempstead 6: A.J. Cain completed 4 of 7 passes for 151 yards and three touchdowns to lead Seaford (8-0). Danny Roell ran for 149 yards and two touchdowns on 20 carries and caught two passes for 75 yards and a touchdown. Kevin Murphy added two catches for 75 yards and two touchdowns. Tyler Volpe had nine tackles and three sacks.
Valley Stream South 24, Oyster Bay 14: Nick Hernandez rushed 13 times for 175 yards and a touchdown and added one reception for 55 yards and a score to lead Valley Stream South (4-4). Ozzy Traill completed 3 of 8 passes for 63 yards and a touchdown and rushed seven times for 35 yards and a score.
Carle Place/Wheatley 52, Island Trees 21: Matt Baltzer had five carries for 50 yards and one touchdown along with an interception, leading Carle Place/Wheatley (5-0). Chris Kelly had three carries for 41 yards and one touchdown.
Clarke 27, Locust Valley 14: Austin Carman-Lyons ran 23 times for 238 yards and four touchdowns to lead Clarke (6-2). He had two scoring runs of 55 yards and another of 51 yards. Tyler Abbitello had two sacks, and Vinny Trovato had nine tackles.
