Conference I

Freeport 12, Westbury 7: Glen Person III rushed for 125 yards on 13 carries, including a 13-yard touchdown, as Freeport defeated host Westbury in Nassau Conference I football on Thursday. His score gave Freeport a 12-0 lead in the first quarter. Kelvin Abreau completed 11 of 20 passes for 69 yards and Andrew Carter had five receptions for 34 yards for Freeport (3-2). Westbury falls to 2-3.

Plainview-Old Bethpage JFK 21, Hicksville 0: Ethan Brake rushed for 76 yards and a touchdown on 10 carries and Eric Weinstein rushed for 68 yards and a touchdown on nine carries to lead visiting Plainview-Old Bethpage JFK (1-4). Hicksville falls to 0-5.

Herricks/Wheatley 42, Valley Stream Central 14: Troy Madden completed 8 of 13 passes for 112 yards and two touchdowns and rushed for 82 yards and a touchdown to lead visiting Herricks/Wheatley (2-3). Aziz Kamran had six receptions for 101 yards, including a 51-yard touchdown from Madden to take a 21-7 lead in the second quarter. Valley Stream Central falls to 2-3.

East Meadow 45, Hempstead 14: James Galiano threw for one touchdown and rushed for three touchdowns and Eric Garcia returned a 72-yard kickoff for a touchdown and added a 27-yard receiving touchdown to lead visiting East Meadow (3-2). Hempstead falls to 2-3.

Farmingdale 49, Syosset 13: Dennis Finkel completed 12 of 12 passes for 255 yards and two touchdowns and Josh Kama rushed for 111 yards and three touchdowns on four carries to lead host Farmingdale (4-1). Matt Ippoliti forced and recovered a fumble for a 72-yard touchdown to give Farmingdale a 42-13 lead in the second quarter. He also had a 1-yard touchdown run and made 11 tackles. Gavin Gatchalian had an 88-yard touchdown reception. Syosset falls to 3-2.

Conference II

New Hyde Park 21, Long Beach 17: Tito Ruiz reeled in a 13-yard touchdown on a slant in the end zone from Andrew Notine on fourth-and-6 with 55 seconds left in the fourth quarter for the winning score as New Hyde Park defeated host Long Beach, 21-17, in Nassau Conference II football on Thursday. Ruiz also had a 9-yard touchdown run to give New Hyde Park a 7-0 lead in the first quarter. New Hyde Park’s winning score came the series after Jayden Zarco made a 22-yard field goal as Long Beach tied the score at 14 with 7:30 left in the fourth quarter. Nick Garofalo caught a 50-yard TD pass and rushed for 60 yards and Notine completed 5 of 8 passes for 82 yards and two TDs for New Hyde Park (3-2). Lukas Rinaldi rushed for 130 yards on 20 carries and added eight tackles. Wyatt Katzen and Brody Reidel each ran for a score for Long Beach (2-3).

Roosevelt 21, Baldwin 7: Kenyen Brown rushed for 158 yards on 12 carries with two touchdowns and added a 14-yard TD reception for visiting Roosevelt (3-2). Tyler Giles had 11 rushes for 56 yards. Roosevelt stayed on offense for all but two minutes in the first quarter. Jeremiah Spears had seven tackles and a sack. Baldwin falls to 2-3.

Calhoun 41, Sewanhaka 14: Anthony Landolphi completed 7 of 10 passes for 152 yards and two touchdowns, adding six rushes for 52 yards and a score for host Calhoun (2-3). He also had six tackles and a pass breakup. Dom Di Rico had 17 carries for 90 yards and had eight tackles. Jake Baci caught three passes for 110 yards and a touchdown. Joe Belbol added two TDs, including an 80-yard kickoff return for a score. Angel Molina Wong had nine tackles and three tackles for a loss. Braylon Metellus rushed for 30 and 38-yard touchdowns for Sewanhaka (1-4).

Carey 39, MacArthur 0: Justin DePietro rushed for 72 yards and two touchdowns and paced the defense with six tackles and an interception to lead host Carey (5-0). Christian Todaro ran for 114 yards and one touchdown while Joncarlo Carbone added 42 yards rushing and one touchdown. Chris Obertis threw for 98 yards and one touchdown to Tristan Hickis. Billy Koutsoumbaris had six tackles. MacArthur falls to 3-2.

Mepham 42, Jericho 0: Owen Heller rushed for one touchdown and threw for another score while Matt Biscardi had a rushing touchdown and a receiving touchdown to lead host Mepham (4-1). Jake Classie returned a punt 55 yards for a touchdown. Braeden Kehoe led the defense with four tackles, three of which were for a loss. Jonah Frishman intercepted two passes in the win. Jericho falls to 1-4.

Conference III

Manhasset 17, Elmont 14: Kyle Melkonian made the winning 28-yard field goal with less than five minutes left in the fourth quarter to break a tie at 14 for host Manhasset over Elmont on Thursday. Melkonian had a 30-yard reception on a screen pass to set up his field goal. He added nine tackles. Manhasset (5-1) stopped Elmont on a fourth-and-goal on the final play to seal the victory. Atif Heathington had 158 all-purpose yards, including a 98-yard kickoff return for a touchdown to give Manhasset a 14-7 lead in the second quarter. Elmont falls to 4-2.

Hewlett 20, Mineola 13: Matthew DeCicco rushed for 127 yards on 14 carries, including an 82-yard touchdown run, and also blocked a punt to lead visiting Hewlett (2-3). Daniel Karadi rushed for 61 yards and a touchdown on 12 carries, CJ Maiorano had 10 tackles and a fumble recovery for a touchdown and Daniel Lankri recorded 15 total tackles, including four for a loss, and forced a fumble. Mineola falls to 0-5.

Bethpage 42, Division 18: Anthony Guarasci threw for 122 yards and two touchdowns to lead host Bethpage (3-3). Chase Solliday had 13 carries for 100 yards and a touchdown and added a 23-yard TD reception. Anthony Petrucelly added 10 carries for 78 yards and a score and James LiPetri caught a 49-yard TD pass. Tim Stanley completed 18 of 26 passes for 244 yards and three TDs and Jason Dooley caught eight passes for 90 yards and a TD for Division (3-2).

Lynbrook 62, Bellmore JFK 14: Gio Ortiz had a receiving touchdown and a rushing touchdown to lead host Lynbrook (3-2). Bennett Votano had a kickoff return and a rushing touchdown. Brian Gilmartin returned a fumble 50 yards for a touchdown. Bellmore JFK falls to 0-5.

Garden City 42, South Side 0: Michael Berkery rushed for 127 yards and two touchdowns on 11 carries to lead host Garden City (6-0). Anthony Asaro returned an interception 48 yards for a touchdown. Brayden Robertiello completed all five of his passes for 45 yards and two touchdowns while also running six times for 42 yards. Blake Cascadden led the defense with five solo tackles, while Jimmy Trocchia added five tackles. Trocchia also caught a 20-yard touchdown pass. Chris Sarkis contributed with an interception. Christopher Desiderio made all six of his extra-point attempts.

Floral Park 35, Valley Stream North 0: Justin Mallon completed 8 of 9 passes for 107 yards and three touchdowns, adding five rushes for 48 yards to lead host Floral Park (4-2). Tyreak Cobb had eight carries for 108 yards and a touchdown. Aidan Lao made the most of his two receptions, scoring two touchdowns. Ryan Terwilliger had two interceptions and John Segota had seven tackles and two sacks. Valley Stream North falls to 1-4.

Conference IV

Malverne 41, Lawrence 6: Jayden Jungra completed 7 of 10 passes for 226 yards and three touchdowns as Malverne defeated host Lawrence on Thursday. Isaiah Jolly had three receptions for 143 yards and two touchdowns and added a 70-yard punt return for a touchdown for Malverne (2-3). Isaiah Smith had a rushing and a receiving touchdown. Lawrence falls to 0-5.

Seaford 27, Locust Valley 7: Brian Falk rushed for 197 yards and two touchdowns on 22 carries and James Arcuri completed 13 of 17 passes for 196 yards and two touchdowns to lead host Seaford (3-2). Kyle Britton had five receptions for 89 yards and two touchdowns. Locust Valley falls to 2-3.

East Rockaway 48, Island Trees 8: Anthony Grimaldi had 13 carries for 186 yards and four touchdowns and returned an interception 32 yards for a TD to lead visiting East Rockaway (3-3). Terry Hayes, Sean Martin and Jethro Jacquet each had two sacks. Island Trees falls to 2-3.

Cold Spring Harbor 42, West Hempstead 20: Alex Bauer rushed for 186 yards with three touchdowns on 10 carries to lead host Cold Spring Harbor (5-0). He had touchdown runs of 67, 46 and 11 yards and also rushed for two two-point conversions. Brady McKean rushed for 93 yards on four carries, including a 20-yard touchdown run. Sam Bruno added a 17-yard touchdown run to give Cold Spring Harbor a 27-0 lead at halftime. West Hempstead falls to 3-2.
