Harborfields scored 20 unanswered points in the fourth quarter on a trio of Shane Longin touchdown passes to come from behind in a 34-30 win over Comsewogue in Suffolk III Friday. In the comeback, Longin threw to Sean Tucker for scores of 51 and 3 yards and to Vinny Bologinio for a 48-yard touchdown. Longin finished 15-for-25 passing for 230 yards and five scores, Tucker had three catches — all that went for touchdowns — totaling 80 yards and Bologinio caught five passes for 75 yards for the Tornadoes (2-0). Kaeden West had TD runs of 4, 3 and 12 yards for Comsewogue (0-2).
East Islip 28, Islip 21: Ryan Parker rushed for 101 yards and a touchdown. KJ Scholl threw two touchdowns and Matt Mcintee caught two passes for 56 yards and one touchdown. His 33-yard touchdown catch in the second quarter gave East Islip a 27-7 lead. Thomas Costarelli rushed for 74 yards and Matt Baldino had a rushing touchdown. Sebastian Regis made 10 tackles for East Islip (1-1).
Westhampton 36, Amityville 18: William Gambino ran 2 yards for a touchdown and completed 14 of 20 passes for 208 yards and three TDs in Suffolk III. TJ Hill caught four passes for 61 yards and one TD. Jordyn Brown caught two passes for 46 yards and one TD. Luke Kilroy made six tackles and Noah Hebberd made five for Westhampton (2-0).
Sayville 42, Deer Park 15: Kyle Messina rushed for 168 yards and two touchdowns in Suffolk III. His 12-yard touchdown in the first quarter broke a scoreless tie. He added a 3-yard touchdown in the second quarter that gave Sayville a 27-7 lead. Jake Triptree completed 7-of-13 passes for 118 yards and two touchdowns. The Sayville defense held Deer Park to 19 yards rushing. Joey Byrne made 10 tackles, including four solo. Benny Sands made nine tackles, had an interception, and recovered a fumble for Sayville (2-0).
Hauppauge 42, Eastport-South Manor 14: Vincent Barbera completed 10 of 12 passes for 218 yards and five touchdowns in Suffolk III. Jojo Provenzano ran for 156 yards and had two touchdowns. Christian Russo caught two touchdowns and recovered a touchdown on a fumble recovery in the end zone. Cole Wood had a blocked punt and an interception for Hauppauge (1-1).
Half Hollow Hills West 56, Wyandanch 6: Zachary Vasconcellos ran for two touchdowns (8, 3 yards) in Suffolk III. Joseph Filardi was 10-of-13 passing for 147 yards and two touchdowns. Jalyn Jacques rushed for 55 yards and one touchdown and caught one touchdown for Half Hollow Hills West (2-0).
