Suffolk Division I
Patchogue-Medford 34, Riverhead 29: Brett Rupolo threw the winning 33-yard touchdown pass to Jackson Wustenhoff with 1:42 remaining for visiting Patchogue-Medford on Saturday. Tommy Kelly rushed 12 times for 86 yards and three touchdowns and threw a 65-yard TD to Monty Degasperi, who later iced the game by forcing and recovering a fumble on the final Riverhead drive. Aaron Heuther added 48 yards on seven carries. Dominic Pertillar had 11 tackles and opened up several holes as a lead blocker for Patchogue-Medford (1-2). Karter Doyle ran for three TDs for Riverhead (1-2).
Ward Melville 8, Connetquot 0: Tyler Blasco caught a 7-yard touchdown pass from Hudson Philbrick late in the fourth quarter to lead host Ward Melville (3-0). Joe Karpowicz made his fourth interception of the season on the final drive for Connetquot (2-1).
Floyd 36, Commack 14: Ja’Quan Thomas rushed for 275 yards and three touchdowns on 26 carries to lead visiting Floyd (3-0). AJ Cannet completed 10 of 17 passes for 178 yards and two TDs and Geo Alvarez caught three passes for 121 yards and two scores. Zamari Wilkins had 12 tackles, including two for a loss. Commack is 1-2.
Sachem North 31, Bay Shore 6: Lucas Singleton rushed for 72 yards and three touchdowns on 12 carries and had two interceptions to lead Sachem North (1-2). Henry Sarro caught a 47-yard TD pass from Luke LaRocca and Zach DeMilt kicked a 44-yard field goal. Bay Shore is 1-2.
Longwood 52, Brentwood 0: Kaden Reid had two interceptions and returned one 38 yards for a touchdown to lead host Longwood (2-1). Eddie Wesche forced a fumble and Clint Chichester had a fumble recovery. Davien Benjamin-Sheffey ran for touchdowns of 14 and 48 yards. Ryan Mandaro ran for a touchdown and threw an 18-yard score to Anthony Fraser. Kyon Sarwari added a 20-yard touchdown run and Daniel Blank kicked a 23-yard field goal. Brentwood is 0-3.
FRIDAY’S GAMES
Lindenhurst 24, Sachem East 0: Christian Aquino caught four passes for 70 yards and a touchdown to lead host Lindenhurst (2-1). Reece Wrightington completed 14 of 23 passes for 186 yards and two TDs and caught a two-point pass from Mikey Russo. Marty Pusey added a 3-yard TD reception. Tarrin Mussillo, Chase Frole and Alex Burmeister each had a sack and Hunter DeRonde had an interception. Sachem East is 1-2.
Whitman 47, Central Islip 14: Aiden Jorgensen had four catches for 112 yards and three touchdowns to lead Whitman (2-1). Dylan Kollmer completed 7 of 10 passes for 182 yards and three touchdowns. Ryan Downes rushed 14 times for 105 yards and a score and Jonas Templeton had 11 carries for 98 yards and a touchdown. Xavier Ali had seven tackles, including three for a loss and Matt Gervasio added six tackles and a rushing score. Will Bozic blocked a punt and recovered it in the end zone for a touchdown. Central Islip is 1-2.
Suffolk Division II
Huntington 25, North Babylon 23: Timmy Smith made the tackle on North Babylon’s potential tying two-point attempt with six seconds left to preserve host Huntington's win on Saturday. Jacob Guzik rushed for 301 yards on 17 carries and three TDs and completed 6 of 9 passes for 85 yards and Thomas Kline had four receptions for 42 yards. for Huntington (1-2). Jawara Keahey ran for a 44-yard TD and Jordan Konig had a 30-yard rushing score and threw a TD pass to Alexander Griffith for North Babylon (1-2).
West Babylon 28, Copiague 14: Elijah Outlaw rushed for 101 yards, including a 20-yard touchdown, and threw for three TDs to lead host West Babylon (1-2). Justin Baldwin ran for 85 yards and had eight tackles. Josiah Price, Jahavi Reyes and Anthony Gerbasio each caught a TD pass. Copiague is 0-3.
East Islip 42, Smithtown West 14: Thomas Costarelli ran for three TDs and threw a 13-yard TD pass to Niko Meyers to lead host East Islip (3-0). Brendan McCaffrey and Jaden Schmidt each had a sack and Jack Kalinowski had a fumble recovery and returned an interception 37 yards for a TD. Michael Cascione and Nick Devito each ran for a TD for Smithtown West (2-1).
West Islip 28, Centereach 0: Jake Lella had three interceptions and Jayson Carlson had four tackles, two sacks and a fumble recovery to lead West Islip (1-2). Stephen McDermott had five tackles and a sack and Max Tate had seven tackles. TJ Sonnenberg rushed for 102 yards and two touchdowns and threw a TD to Lella. Jake Kramer ran for 107 yards and a TD. Centereach is 1-2.
Newfield 28, Smithtown East 6: Chris Mastres had six sacks, two tackles-for-loss and a forced fumble to lead host Newfield (3-0) on Friday. Matthew Evers completed 9 of 12 passes for 126 yards and two TDs and Jacob Russo had a TD run and a TD reception. Smithtown East is 1-2.
Half Hollow Hills East 60, Deer Park 0: Daniel White had ran for 201 yards and three TDs and returned a kickoff 98 yards for a TD to lead host Half Hollow Hills East (3-0). Nick Sevilla threw four TD passes, two of which went to Lucas Martin. Logan Soler caught a 60-yard TD and Max Drehwing added a 25-yard TD catch. Jaiden Bryant had 12 tackles and two sacks and rushed for 65 yards and a TD. Deer Park is 0-3.
Suffolk Division III
Islip 40, Westhampton 35: Brady Nash completed 18 of 30 passes for 390 yards and two touchdowns and ran 12 times for 145 yards and three TDs to lead visiting Islip on Friday night. According to coach Jamie Lynch, Nash broke his own single-game school record for passing yards. Jack Rao had four catches for 150 yards and a TD and Dylan Smith had eight catches for 114 yards and a score. Christian Hall, Josiah Patterson and Robbie Rais each had six tackles and a sack for Islip (2-1). Finn Drake threw five TD passes and Drew Calloway caught TD passes of 64, 60 and 5 yards for Westhampton (1-2).
Sayville 28, Comsewogue 10: Kyle Messina ran 13 times for 172 yards and a 45-yard touchdown to lead visiting Sayville (3-0) in Suffolk III. Patrick Coan completed 14 passes for 232 yards and three TDs. Tomas McCann caught seven passes for 127 yards and two TDs and Dylan Kent caught seven passes for 105 yards and a score. Mikey Sands had 13 tackles. Donovan Bartollotta had an interception and a fumble recovery and Luke Neugebauer added an interception. Comsewogue is 1-2.
Half Hollow Hills West 47, Hauppauge 17: Joseph Filardi rushed for three touchdowns and threw for a score to lead visiting Half Hollow Hills West (3-0). Christian Alfaro rushed for two touchdowns and Anthony Raio caught a 74-yard TD pass. Ryan Levy made all five of his PATs. Hauppauge is 2-1.
Rocky Point 28, Amityville 20: Grayson Marmol ran for a 25-yard touchdown to give visiting Rocky Point a 28-14 lead in the fourth quarter following a two-point conversion run by John Nadeau on Saturday. Ryan Espinal sealed the win with an interception with less than two minutes left for Rocky Point (2-1). Keegan Davanzo had a 60-yard interception return for a TD and Thomas Doran rushed for 80 yards and a TD. Brogan Casper and DJ Xavier each had two sacks and Dylan Colon added a sack. DaJon Clinton rushed for 135 yards and two TDs for Amityville (1-2).
Suffolk Division IV
Greenport/Southold/Mattituck 32, Southampton 0: Michael DeNicola rushed for two touchdowns, completed two two-point conversion passes and returned an interception 37 yards for a TD to lead visiting Greenport/Southold/Mattituck on Friday. Greenport/Southold/Mattituck is 3-0 for the first time since 2013. Taiquan Brumsey caught both of DeNicola’s two-point passes for the Porters. Chris Palencia ran for a 42-yard TD. Southampton is 1-2.
Babylon 21, Mount Sinai 7: Aidan Winter had 26 rushes for 224 yards and a touchdown and added a 29-yard TD reception from Kai Jankow to lead visiting Babylon (3-0). Jankow had 12 rushes for 84 yards and a TD and had six tackles and an interception. Dan DeBetta made eight tackles and Ben King made seven. Ryan Filippi rushed for a TD for Mount Sinai (1-2).
Hampton Bays 38, Wyandanch 6: Nate Donahue rushed for 86 yards and four touchdowns and forced a fumble to lead host Hampton Bays (1-2). CJ Seymore rushed for 93 yards and a TD and Michael Single added a 25-yard touchdown run, two interceptions and a forced fumble. Hunter Halsey had an interception. Wyandanch is 0-3.
Miller Place 41, Port Jefferson 0: Shane Kiernan completed 9 of 11 passes for 202 yards and four touchdowns to lead visiting Miller Place (2-1) on Saturday. Ethan Monaco had three catches for 126 yards and two touchdowns. AJ Rudolph and Dane Lagrasta each added a TD reception. Braeden Murphy made 11 tackles. Camryn Hardy added four sacks, an interception and a rushing TD. Port Jefferson is 0-3.
Glenn 36, Center Moriches 0: Keith King rushed for 83 yards and two touchdowns on 14 carries for Glenn (1-2). Cole Madden completed 8 of 9 passes for 118 yards and a TD. Joe Competiello caught a 35-yard TD pass and threw a 39-yard TD pass to CJ Mascia. Anthony Soto made eight tackles. Center Moriches is 1-2.
