Suffolk Division I
Sachem North 42, Sachem East 22: Lucas Singleton had 21 carries for 135 yards and three touchdowns to lead host Sachem North to a win over Sachem East in Suffolk Division I football on Saturday. Luke LaRocca completed 11 of 14 passes for 148 yards and had touchdowns passes of 27 and 13 yards to Brayden Tappin. Nasir Altes added a 30-yard TD run for Sachem North (2-5). AJ Vurchio ran for a TD and threw a 20-yard touchdown pass to Gianni Spinelli, who also had a 10-yard TD run for Sachem East (2-5).
Commack 34, Brentwood 6: Andrew Riggs caught four passes for 77 yards, had 18 tackles and returned an interception 75 yards for a touchdown for visiting Commack (4-3). Brady Curry had 146 all-purpose yards, a rushing TD and made 11 tackles. AJ Arizonis and James Brusca each caught a TD pass from Lincoln Riggs. Cris Peralta had a 3-yard rushing TD for Brentwood (1-6).
Floyd 34, Whitman 3: AJ Cannet completed 6 of 11 passes for 142 yards and two touchdowns and added a 7-yard TD run for host Floyd (6-1). Ja’Quan Thomas had 16 carries for 131 yards and a 45-yard TD and Josh Jordan caught two passes for 119 yards and two TDs. Zamari Wilkins had five tackles, including two for a loss, and a sack. Whitman is 3-4.
Lindenhurst 34, Patchogue-Medford 0: Joseph Scavone had 12 carries for 130 yards and two scores for host Lindenhurst (5-2). Reece Wrightington completed 9 of 12 passes for 180 yards and two TDs. Christian Aquino caught a 46-yard TD and Jacob Burmeister caught a 51-yard score. Chase Frole and Josh Tarte each had six tackles. Patchogue-Medford is 2-5.
FRIDAY’S GAMES
Longwood 35, Ward Melville 7: Ryan Mandaro and Madison Murrell each had two rushing touchdowns for host Longwood (6-1). Mandaro completed 6 of 7 passes for 95 yards and a TD. Kaden Reid had two interceptions, Mike Warren had two tackles for a loss and Eddie Wesche and Murrell each had five tackles. Joe Benedetto had a 43-yard TD run for Ward Melville (6-1).
Connetquot 47, Central Islip 7: Vincent Feraca completed 11 of 15 passes for 271 yards and five TDs for visiting Connetquot (6-1). Javon Barnwell caught four passes for 144 yards and three TDs. Andrew Amarando had five catches for 88 yards and two scores. Lucas Weaver had nine tackles, including four for a loss and two sacks. Steve Frias ran for a TD and had a sack. Kevin Unterweiser had a sack, forced a fumble and broke up two passes. Central Islip is 1-6.
Suffolk Division II
North Babylon 22, West Babylon 19: Jawara Keahey had 24 carries for 197 yards and scored the winning 4-yard touchdown with 58 seconds left in North Babylon’s win over West Babylon in Suffolk Division II football on Saturday. Keahey’s TD capped an 80-yard drive that spanned 4:53. Jordan Konig ran for 117 yards and a TD on 23 carries and Malyk Montenegro added a 15-yard TD run for North Babylon (3-4). Elijah Outlaw had 19 carries for 191 yards and three TDs and threw for 112 yards for West Babylon (3-4).
Smithtown West 20, Newfield 8: Michael Cascione had two interceptions, including one he returned for a 35-yard TD, and made nine tackles to lead host Smithtown West (6-1). Nick Devito threw an 87-yard TD to Jake Rearick to give West a 14-8 lead in the fourth quarter. Jason Antunes rushed for a 3-yard TD in the first quarter. Nick Zins added six tackles. Matthew Evers threw an 18-yard TD pass to Branden McDaniels for Newfield (5-2).
Half Hollow Hills East 42, West Islip 17: Daniel White rushed for 180 yards and three TDs on 16 carries to lead host Hills East (6-1). Lucas Martin had 100 receiving yards and a TD. Tyler Sanders caught a 49-yard TD pass and had an interception. Jaiden Bryant rushed for 56 yards and a score and had nine tackles and a fumble recovery. Jacob Giannattasio had eight tackles and a sack and Akio Johnson added seven tackles and a sack. TJ Sonnenberg threw a TD pass and ran for a score for West Islip (1-6).
Bellport 43, Smithtown East 0: Kingston John had five carries for 100 yards, including a 65-yard scoring run to lead host Bellport (4-3) in Suffolk II. Michael Frankie caught TD passes of 13 and 23 yards from Braydon Cipp, who added a TD run. Hayden Tooker returned a fumble 82 yards for a TD and Nazir Turner had a 23-yard INT return for a score. Jaheim Talford had eight tackles, three sacks and three forced fumbles and Trey’von Holland had eight tackles and a forced fumble. Smithtown East is 2-5.
Huntington 45, Deer Park 0: Yasir Jones ran for 201 yards and three TDs on 20 carries for visiting Huntington (5-2). Tommy Kline had a 37-yard INT return TD, 90-yard punt-return TD and two tackles, including one for a loss. Timmy McDonald had five rushes for 57 yards and added nine tackles. Jordan Thorbourne had seven tackles and Keegan Malone and Chase Northrop each had a sack. Robbie Campbell made all six of his PATs and added a 38-yard field goal. Deer Park is 0-7.
FRIDAY’S GAME
East Islip 41, Northport 27: Ryan Parker ran for 145 yards and three TDs and caught two passes for 93 yards and a TD to lead host East Islip (7-0). Jack Kalinowski caught six passes for 110 yards and a TD and had two INTs. Thomas Costarelli was 8-for-10 for 203 yards and two scores and added a TD run. Enrique Hernandez threw three TD passes, including a 50-yarder to Christian Campoli for Northport (4-3).
Suffolk Division III
East Hampton/Bridgehampton/Pierson 20, Hauppauge 7: Alex Davis rushed for 77 yards and a touchdown on 18 carries to lead visiting East Hampton/Bridgehampton/Pierson to a win over Hauppauge in Suffolk Division III football on Friday. He added a receiving TD.
Theo Ball completed 6 of 13 passes for 87 yards and two TDs and Charlie Stern added a 23-yard TD for East Hampton (4-3). Liam O’Connor had a TD run for Hauppauge (4-3).
Half Hollow Hills West 56, Islip 20: Joseph Filardi threw for 323 yards and five touchdowns and Jesse Brooks caught six passes for 116 yards and three TDs to lead visiting Hills West (6-1). Anthony Raio caught 7 passes for 126 yards and two TDs and had an interception. Christian Alfaro rushed for two TDs and Jayden Smith had a TD run. Jerrel Jenkins had an INT, Kade Diaz had eight tackles and Mason Reisch had three pass deflections.
Brady Nash threw two TD passes and ran for a score for Islip (5-2).
Westhampton 48, Harborfields 7: Drew Calloway completed 7 of 8 passes for 132 yards and a touchdown, rushed for 51 yards and two TDs and had an interception to lead host Westhampton (4-3). Brody Schaffer rushed for 90 yards and two scores. Brady Spanbock had 114 receiving yards and a TD and Aidan Arrasate had five tackles and a rushing TD. Harborfields is 1-6.
Sayville 54, Eastport-South Manor 10: Patrick Coan completed 8 of 11 passes for 183 yards and four touchdowns to lead visiting Sayville (7-0) in Suffolk III. Kyle Messina had four carries for 139 yards and a touchdown and caught two passes for 79 yards and a score. Tommy McCann, Donovan Bartolotta and Mikey Sands each added a TD catch. Tristan Vitale and Stash Chorowski each had a rushing TD. Sands had 12 tackles, including two for a loss and Dylan Kent returned an INT 33 yards for a TD. McCann and Messina each had eight tackles. Eastport-South Manor is 3-4.
SATURDAY’S GAME
Comsewogue 42, Amityville 6: Peter Castaldo had 13 carries for 117 yards and four touchdowns to lead host Comsewogue (4-3). Jack Campagna returned a fumble 50 yards for a TD, Shane Grant added a 6-yard TD run and Lucas Shannon had nine tackles. Jacob Billinger had a TD run for Amityville (1-6).
Suffolk Division IV
Miller Place 21, Glenn 14: Shane Kiernan completed 25 of 34 passes for 333 yards and three touchdowns and Dane LaGrasta had eight receptions for 190 yards and two TDs to lead visiting Miller Place to a win over Glenn in Suffolk Division IV football on Saturday. Kiernan connected with LaGrasta for the winning 6-yard TD pass with seven minutes left for the Panthers (5-2). Kevin Washington ended Glenn’s final drive with a sack in the red zone on fourth down.
Braeden Murphy had 12 tackles, including one for a loss, and a pass breakup. DJ Williamson had nine catches for 91 yards and a TD. Cole Madden threw a 13-yard TD pass and KaRahn King ran for a TD for Glenn (3-4).
FRIDAY’S GAMES
Babylon 48, Center Moriches 14: Aidan Winter had 352 all-purpose yards and five touchdowns for visiting Babylon (6-1). Kai Jankow had 13 carries for 109 yards and a TD and completed 3 of 4 passes for 70 yards and a score. Dan DeBetta had a 3-yard TD run and eight tackles. Ben King had nine tackles and Alex Keilitz had six tackles. Peter Nizza and Shane Gallagher each caught a TD pass from Brayden Hromada for Center Moriches (4-3).
Mt. Sinai 35, Hampton Bays 12: Max Sorrentino completed all eight of his passes for 211 yards and three touchdowns for host Mt. Sinai (4-3). Logan Geraghty had 197 all-purpose yards, two touchdowns, eight tackles, an interception and a forced fumble. John Pramataris had a rushing and receiving TD and Ryan Filippi had a TD reception. Nathan Donahue rushed for two scores for Hampton Bays (2-5).
Bayport-Blue Point 46, Port Jefferson 7: Hank Bosse ran 14 times for 101 yards and a touchdown and Sean Coffey had three carries for 64 yards and two TDs for visiting Bayport-Blue Point (7-0). Dylan Craig added six carries for 80 yards and a TD and Colin Clark ran for a 50-yard score. Cooper Fuller added two TD runs. Colin Most and Rodney Magee each had an interception. Port Jefferson is 1-6.
Greenport/Southold/Mattituck 46, Wyandanch 8: Michael DeNicola completed 14 passes for 244 yards and four touchdowns for host Greenport/Southold/Mattituck (4-3). DeNicola added two interceptions, including one for a 43-yard TD. Luke Weir caught four passes for 134 yards, including an 88-yard TD. He also made an interception. Matt McGunnigle caught three passes for 44 yards and two TDs. Brady Woods had four catches for 66 yards and a TD. Collie Wint caught a 28-yard TD pass from Derrick Henry for Wyandanch (2-5).
