Suffolk Division I

Bay Shore 27, Patchogue-Medford 14: Jayden Jean rushed for 174 yards and two touchdowns on 25 carries as visiting Bay Shore defeated Patchogue-Medford in Suffolk Division I football on Saturday. He scored both touchdowns in the first quarter.

Eriq St. Louis had a 75-yard TD reception from Xavier Hector in the third quarter and the two-point conversion stretched the lead to 20-7 for Bay Shore (3-3).

Hector hit James Sobotka for a 25-yard score in the fourth quarter and Sobotka also made an interception. Brett Rupolo ran for one touchdown and threw for another for Patchogue-Medford (2-4).

Floyd 48, Sachem North 28: AJ Cannet completed 11 of 16 passes for 200 yards and a score for host Floyd (5-1). Ja’Quan Thomas rushed for 301 yards and four touchdowns on 30 carries andGeo Alvarez caught six passes for 102 yards. Defensive lineman Aaron Fisher had 13 tackles, including four for a loss, and three sacks.

Luke LaRocca threw touchdown passes of 69 and 25 yards and Lucas Singleton rushed for two scores, including one for 45 yards for Sachem North (1-5).

Commack 41, Central Islip 0: Lincoln Riggs completed 5 of 8 passes, including three touchdown passes to his brother Andrew Riggs for visiting Commack (3-3).

Brady Curry rushed for 112 yards and two touchdowns and led the defense with eight tackles and a fumble recovery. Keith Abruzzo and Josh Forti each had an interception for the Cougars. Central Islip is 1-5.

Ward Melville 48, Riverhead 7: Quarterback Hudson Philbrick completed 4 of 5 passes for 108 yards and two touchdowns for visiting Ward Melville (6-0). JJ Alcindor ran five times for 95 yards and two scores — one for 35 yards and the other for 34 yards.

Jaylen Thomas had five carries for 85 yards and Joe Benedetto had seven carries for 41 yards and two TDs. Joe Massaro opened the game with a 65-yard kickoff return for a touchdown.

Karter Doyle threw a 45-yard TD pass to Kevin Qualey for Riverhead (1-5).

Sachem East 49, Brentwood 34: AJ Vurchio completed 11 of 18 passes for 178 yards and four touchdowns for host Sachem East (2-4). Gianni Spinelli had four receptions for 68 yards and 13 rushes for 185 yards and three touchdowns. Brady King, James Dee and Max Bennett also had touchdown receptions. Brentwood fell to 1-5.

Suffolk Division II

Newfield 28, West Islip 21: Chris Mastres scored three touchdowns (two rushing, one receiving) and Matthew Evers completed 6 of 9 passes for 157 yards and two touchdowns as host Newfield defeated West Islip in Suffolk Division II football on Friday. Mastres had a 4-yard touchdown run to give Newfield a 28-14 lead in the third quarter.

Jaysiah Deliat had 101 yards receiving and a touchdown and Branden McDaniels had three receptions for 87 yards and made two interceptions for Newfield (5-1).

West Islip fell to 1-5.

Half Hollow Hills East 21, Bellport 0: Daniel White rushed for 242 yards and two touchdowns for host Half Hollow Hills East (5-1). Jayden Bryant had an 11-yard TD run, eight tackles and recovered a fumble. Najeh Sexil had eight tackles and a strip sack. Noah Chlap added 10 tackles.

West Babylon 39, Centereach 6: Jahavi Reyes completed a 41-yard touchdown pass to Alex Allen to open the scoring and had a 96-yard interception return for a touchdown in the second quarter to give host West Babylon (3-3) a 26-0 lead. Elijah Outlaw rushed for 109 yards, including an 85-yard touchdown and a 4-yard touchdown. Centereach fell to 2-4.

SATURDAY’S GAMES

Northport 49, Deer Park 0: Luke Loiacono had 151 yards from scrimmage and added a 70-yard kickoff return for a touchdown for host Northport (4-2).

Enrique Hernandez passed for 107 yards and a touchdown and added an 18-yard rushing score. Deer Park is 0-6.

Smithtown West 35, Smithtown East 3: Jason Antunes had two rushing touchdowns and a 7-yard touchdown reception from Nick Devito for visiting Smithtown West (5-1). Jake Rearick returned an interception 60 yards for a score. Nick Zins had 11 tackles and Mike Cascione added eight tackles. Smithtown East fell to 2-4.

East Islip 42, North Babylon 7: Ryan Parker rushed for 112 yards on seven carries and three touchdowns for visiting East Islip (6-0). PJ Gannon made two interceptions. North Babylon fell to 2-4.

Huntington 42, Copiague 8: Yasir Jones rushed for three touchdowns for visiting Huntington (4-2). Tommy Kline made six tackles and had three pass deflections. Timmy McDonald added 11 tackles. Copiague is 0-6.

Suffolk Division III

Eastport-South Manor 23, Kings Park 20: Max Ferraro rushed for 275 yards and two touchdowns on 31 carries as visiting Eastport-South Manor defeated Kings Park in Suffolk Division III football on Saturday. Joey Hershey rushed for 111 yards and a touchdown on 18 carries for Eastport-South Manor (3-3).

Steve Pacella-Gordon and Bryan Pierre each had two sacks.

Brandon Shapiro had a 22-yard rushing touchdown and a 17-yard TD pass for Kings Park (0-6).

Comsewogue 42, Harborfields 13: Peter Castaldo rushed for 324 yards and five touchdowns on 42 carries to lead visiting Comsewogue (3-3). Doug Annicelli had an interception and four tackles and James Ward added seven tackles.

Colin Burke had a 75-yard interception for a touchdown and Matthew Ferranti had a 26-yard touchdown reception from Landon Paulino for Harborfields (1-5).

East Hampton 34, Amityville 8: Alex Davis rushed for more than 200 yards with a touchdown and scored on special teams and defense as well. Davis had a 77-yard kickoff return and a 27-yard interception return for scores to lead host East Hampton / Bridgehampton / Pierson (3-3).

Theo Ball threw an 8-yard touchdown pass to Charlie Stern and a 20-yard touchdown pass to Jackson Ronick. Amityville falls to 1-5.

FRIDAY’S GAMES

Westhampton 49, Hauppauge 10: Jake Calloway returned to the lineup after a Week 1 injury, running 13 times for 166 yards with five touchdowns while also completing 11 of his 16 passes for 109 yards and another score to lead host Westhampton (3-3). He also made five tackles.

Calloway threw a 21-yard touchdown pass to his older brother, Drew Calloway.

Andrew Lewis had six tackles, a sack and a forced fumble.

Wally Faiz rushed for a 9-yard touchdown and Dan Martinez made both an extra point and a 20-yard field goal for Hauppauge (4-2).

Islip 49, Rocky Point 14: Dylan Smith had nine receptions for 140 yards and three touchdowns, and Brady Nash completed 13 of 16 passes for 244 yards and four TDs and also rushed for 94 yards on nine carries to lead visiting Islip (5-1).

Jake DeGennaro added 65 yards on six carries, including a 17-yard touchdown, a 65-yard touchdown reception and an interception.

Najee Simpson had eight tackles, including three for a loss.

Thomas Doran had two rushing touchdowns for Rocky Point (3-3).

Suffolk Division IV

Bayport-Blue Point 12, Babylon 7: Cooper Fuller rushed in a winning 3-yard touchdown on a direct snap run up the middle with 6:33 left in the fourth quarter for the game’s final points as host Bayport-Blue Point defeated Babylon in Suffolk Division IV football on Friday.

Traigh Tommasone recorded an interception on the ensuing drive with 4:30 left in the fourth quarter and Bayport-Blue Point retained possession the rest of the contest.

Fuller had 180 yards on 24 carries and Colin Reyer had 65 yards on four carries for Bayport-Blue Point (6-0).

Christian Saur recorded a strip-sack in the second quarter and Dylan Spano recovered the loose ball in the end zone for a touchdown for Bayport-Blue Point’s first score, cutting Babylon’s lead to 7-6.

Center Moriches 30, Greenport/Southold 6: Brayden Hromada ran in four touchdowns, including a 33-yard score to cap off the game, for visitors Center Moriches in Suffolk IV. Daniel Jurgens connected on a 37-yard field goal and converted 3 of 4 PATs for Center Moriches (4-2). Matt McGunnigle punched in a 6-yard rushing score for Greenport/Southold (3-3).

Hampton Bays 39, Southampton 14: Nate Donahue rushed for 91 yards and three touchdowns on four carries and completed 7 of 12 passes for 111 yards and a touchdown and had six tackles to lead host Hampton Bays (2-4).

CJ Seymore added 92 yards and a touchdown on nine carries, Brayden Talmage had three receptions for 55 yards and a touchdown and Michael Single had three receptions for 53 yards and a fumble recovery for a touchdown.

Gabriel DiFrancesco also had a fumble recovery and Peter Scelfo had six tackles and a fumble recovery. Southampton falls to 0-6.

SATURDAY’S GAMES

Glenn 41, Mt. Sinai 24: Joe Competiello had 250 all-purpose yards and a touchdown, adding 10 tackles and an interception on defense to lead host Glenn (3-3). KaRahn King had 19 carries for 164 yards and four touchdowns and Cole Madden completed 12 of 14 passes for 222 yards and two touchdowns.

Ethan Levy caught a touchdown and Luca Palisciano and Joe LaMay each had a sack.

Max Sorrentino threw three touchdown passes for Mt. Sinai (3-3).

Miller Place 41, Shoreham-Wading River 7: Shane Kiernan completed 27 of 33 passes for 237 yards and one touchdown and one rushing touchdown to lead host Miller Place (4-2).

Braeden Murphy had two rushing touchdowns and one receiving touchdown and had 13 tackles, including five tackles for loss.

Dane Lagrasta had six receptions for 100 yards and Ethan Monaco added a 45-yard touchdown run.

Shoreham-Wading River falls to 3-3.
