Emma Ryan had 20 points and 11 rebounds to lead No. 5 St. John the Baptist to a 59-53 win over No. 4 St. Dominic in the CHSAA girls basketball quarterfinals on Tuesday. Jayla Fowler scored 15 points on five three-pointers. Gabby Cimino had 10 points and 10 rebounds.

Mia Padulla and Gabby Himmelstein each had 14 points for St. Dominic (10-6).

St. John the Baptist (14-7) will travel to No. 1 St. Mary’s on Friday for a semifinal matchup.

St. Anthony’s 55, Holy Trinity 25: Emma Toner had 16 points and four steals to lead No. 2 St. Anthony’s over No. 7 Holy Trinity in the CHSAA quarterfinals. Sierra Reipe had 11 points and four steals. Maya Logie had a game-high 17 points for Holy Trinity (5-19). St. Anthony’s will host No. 3 Sacred Heart on Friday in the semifinals.

Sacred Heart 62, Kellenberg 29: Annie Kiernan logged a double-double, scoring 29 points and grabbing 10 rebounds to lead No. 3 Sacred Heart over No. 6 Kellenberg in the CHSAA quarterfinals. Haylee Ellwood had 12 points and six assists for Sacred Heart (14-7). Victoria Saporito scored nine for Kellenberg (10-9).

Babylon 30, Pierson/Bridgehampton 25: Brooke O’Halloran scored the final six points of the game as No. 1 Babylon defeated No. 4 Pierson/Bridgehampton in the Suffolk Class B semifinals on Wednesday. O’Halloran finished with nine points. Giavanna Randazzo scored seven. Josie Mott made a three-pointer with 2:15 to go in the fourth quarter to put Pierson/Bridgehampton ahead for the first time, at 25-24. Mott and Lola Eldridge each scored seven for Pierson/Bridgehampton (11-10) Babylon (15-6) will face Mattituck on Friday, at 5 p.m. at St. Joseph’s Colleges in the final.
