Juliana Stanley is a human highlight reel.

There isn’t much the Division senior can’t do on the field. She’s used to facing constant double teams and faceguards as Division’s elite goalscorer. And even when coach Sean Donnellan moved Stanley to midfield as a junior, the Richmond commit continued to post massive offensive numbers.

“It’s special to watch because you see some things and you shake your head like ‘How did she do that?’ ” Donnellan said. “If we had highlights of every game like ESPN Top 10’s, she’d be on there a lot.”

Stanley’s latest highlight package came en route to scoring her 200th varsity goal in Division’s 12-8 victory over New Hyde Park April 23. She has 223 varsity goals after scoring 12 goals in a 17-1 victory over Island Trees Saturday.

“It’s really special to me,” Stanley said. “Growing up, I always wanted to make a mark. It’s kind of surreal.”

Stanley, who has been on the varsity team since the eighth grade, admitted to being a little intimidated when she first joined the squad. But she quickly proved she belonged, scoring winning goals and having 70 goals as a freshman.

Stanley has 58 goals and 12 assists in a 7-4 start, including nine goals against Floral Park.

“You see it sometimes, all of a sudden you see a switch in her where she’s like, ‘I’m going to take over,' ” Donnellan said. “Then all of a sudden you can’t stop No. 14.”

Stanley has learned how to play through double teams and constant attention to average nearly six points per game.

“Being face guarded in these situations, I know I have to come out big for my team,” Stanley said. “I think it also helps me to be a better player. It gives me an extra challenge facing multiple defenders.”

Even her position change showed Stanley’s team-first mentality. Donnellan said he didn’t know if Stanley loved the switch to midfield initially but now says the senior is the team’s top defensive midfielder — as well as offensive player. In his eyes, that makes reaching 200 goals even more impressive.

“It wasn’t like ‘She just plays attack, she’ll score goals,’ ” Donnellan said. “It didn’t matter where I put her, she was going to get her goals. She’s a force.”

Comsewogue's statement win

Comsewogue rallied to hand Bayport-Blue Point its first loss to a Suffolk opponent in  three years with a 6-5 victory April 25. Mackenzie Beck scored the winning goal off an assist from Maddie Schubert to break a tie at 5 for Comsewogue, which had won eight of its first 11 games.

Seaford rolling to begin

After an 8-7 season last spring, the Vikings are sitting atop Conference II with a 6-0 record, led by a strong and experienced group, including seniors Alex Leggio, Emily Montagano, Brooke Surace and juniors Amanda Ettinger and Danielle McHugh. Ettinger had three goals and Leggio had five assists in an 8-5 victory over a strong Oceanside team Tuesday. Seaford is 8-3 overall.
