Syosset's Elizabeth Choi shot a two-day total of 147 to lead Nassau to a second-place finish in the state girls golf championships Sunday.

Nassau had a team total of 1,165, which was 37 shots back of first-place Section I (1,128) at the golf course at SUNY Delhi.

Choi shot 70 Saturday and a 77 yesterday for fourth place individually. Cold Spring Harbor's Jennifer Rosenberg placed fifth after shooting a 77-72 for a 149. Syosset's Malini Rudra shot a two-day total of 153 for sixth. Rudra shot 78-75.

Ward Melville's Danielle Greene led third-place Suffolk (1,180). Greene shot an 81 followed by a 76 for a 157 total. Smithtown East's Peyton Greco shot a 78-85 for a 163. Smithtown East teammate Cassie Hall shot 84-83. Sayville's Meghan O'Mara shot 87-82.

The CHSAA girls golf team placed fifth (1,192) in representing the federation.
