The junior captain rolled his first career 300 in Game 2 of a 665 series to lead Northport (7-6) in a League II win over Commack.

BETHPAGE, GYMNASTICS

The junior took first place in the all-around with a 34.9 and won the uneven bars with a 9.25 for Bethpage (7-0) in a Conference I win over Long Beach. Ciresi has won the all around in all seven of her dual meets this season.

JUSTIN PLASCHKA

HAUPPAUGE, SWIMMING

The junior broke three school records in Hauppauge's 103-78 loss to Smithtown. Plaschka won the 200-yard IM in 1:54.26, swam a 21.03 in the 50-yard freestyle, and set the school record in the 100-yard breaststroke, swimming a 1:01.11.

JESSE DELLAVECCHIA

EAST ISLIP, WRESTLING

Went up in weight from 99 to 106 pounds to defeat Suffolk runnerup Steven Lee of West Babylon, 4-3, in the Redmen's 70-12 win.

LONGWOOD, TRACK

The junior won the Large Schools 55-meters at the Suffolk Last Chance meet. He timed 6.80.

WANTAGH, WRESTLING

He decisioned Justin Cooksey of MacArthur, 10-6 at 126 pounds, as the Warriors defeated the Generals 45-16 for the Nassau dual-meet championship.

RYAN UDVADIA

SHOREHAM-WADING RIVER, TRACK

The junior won both the Small Schools 1,600 meters (4:31.34) and 3,200 meters (9:39.57) at the Suffolk Last Chance Meet.

BRENTWOOD, WRESTLING

He defeated Rich Pollina of Commack, 4-3 at 220 pounds in double overtime as the Indians edged Commack, 36-35.

MIKE GUZZARDI

MOUNT SINAI, BOYS BASKETBALL

He scored 23 points, including the 1,000th of his career, and the winning layup in overtime of a 58-56 victory over Miller Place.

He scored 22 points, with 11 rebounds and six assists, in the Tigers' 49-45 upset of Farmingdale.

He tied a school record with nine three-pointers and totaled 31 points in the Tornados' 85-56 victory over Eastport-South Manor.

The sophomore scored her 1,000th career point in a 56-35 victory over St. John the Baptist.
