Finn Rummenie hit a go-ahead three-run double in the bottom of the sixth inning in Oceanside’s 9-7 win over Freeport in Nassau Conference AAA. Luke Villella went 2-for-3 with a triple and three RBIs, Ryan Piccola had two hits and an RBI and Jack Regan went 1-for-2 with an RBI and two runs scored for Oceanside (8-2). Jake Ganulin struck out three over two innings of relief to earn the win. Josua Lightburn and Johnny Romero each hit a home run for Freeport (4-8).

Rocky Point 2, Islip 1: Vido Spadafina lined a walk-off RBI single to score Jackson Marte in the bottom of the eighth inning to lead Rocky Point (7-5) in Suffolk VI.

Sayville 2, Mount Sinai 0: Shane Meehan singled in Joe Strining for the go-ahead run to lead Sayville (8-5) in Suffolk VI. Tyler Brown pitched a complete-game, two-hit shutout with nine strikeouts.

SOFTBALL

Half Hollow Hills 11, Patchogue-Medford 2: Danica Golden went 3-for-4 with two home runs and three RBIs to lead Half Hollow Hills (7-5) in Suffolk I. Golden threw a complete game, giving up four hits and striking out four. Juliana Catalano went 3-for-4 and scored two runs. Olivia Madrid had a multi-hit game, including a run-scoring double.

Miller Place 10, Shoreham-Wading River 3: Delaney Schleider went 3-for-4 with two runs scored, a double, a triple and two RBIs to lead Miller Place (11-1) in Suffolk VI. Ava Zicchinelli pitched five innings with eight strikeouts. Sadie Hoffman went 2-for-3 with two runs scored.

BOYS LACROSSE

Islip 8, Bayport-Blue Point 7: Jake DeGennaro had two goals in the fourth quarter to lead Islip (7-4) in Suffolk II. Dylan Smith won 16 faceoffs, Jack Whitehouse had one goal and two assists and Michael Vitale made eight saves. Connor Curran had two goals and two assists and Andrew Snyder made 15 saves for Bayport-Blue Point (7-3).

Hauppauge 12, Center Moriches 9: Nick Kump had eight goals and three assist to lead Hauppauge (4-6) in Suffolk II. Joe Bono won 21 of 25 faceoffs and Drew Dibenedetto made nine saves. Colin Casey had three goals and an assist and Michael Albino made seven saves for Center Moriches (5-5).

GIRLS LACROSSE

Floyd 11, Bay Shore 9: Madison Widecki had three goals and an assist for Floyd (6-4) in Suffolk I. Emma DiMaio and Rylie Wiegand each added two goals and an assist. Haley Naslonski scored five goals and Kaitlyn Brewer had a goal and five assists for Bay Shore (5-4).

Kings Park 15, Deer Park 2: Samantha Van Geld had three goals and two assists for Kings Park (8-3) in Suffolk II. Emily Clemens added two goals and five assists. Molly Pellicano scored two goals and Gabrielle Braun made five saves for Deer Park (1-9).

Cold Spring Harbor 15, Massapequa 9: Ryan Reynolds had four goals and an assist for Cold Spring Harbor (10-2) in Nassau I. Olivia Mulada had three goals and two assists and Maya Soskin made nine saves. Cassidy Morrow scored four goals and Emily Fitzgerald made eight saves for Massapequa (8-4).

FLAG FOOTBALL

Whitman 30, Lindenhurst 0: Jazmynn Julien rushed for three touchdowns to lead Whitman (5-5-2) in Suffolk I. Nevin Letren had a touchdown and an interception and Alexis Blain had four sacks.

Longwood 47, Sachem North 0: Delaney Israel completed 19 of 24 passes for 356 yards and seven touchdowns to lead Longwood (9-3) in Suffolk I. Giselle Harris caught six passes for 166 yards and three touchdowns and had an interception. Aliyah Khamis had a touchdown and an interception and Danya Ahmed and Natalia Treadwell each added an interception.
