Ava Tintle and Hailey Welsch scored in the first and second rounds of a penalty shootout for East Hampton field hockey, with Tintle’s shot clinching a playoff spot for the Bonackers in their 1-0 home win over East Islip Thursday in Suffolk II. Caleigh Schuster stood on her head in goal, saving 23 shots for East Hampton (8-7). She also didn’t allow a goal in the second shootout. Cassie Dodenhoff made four saves for East Islip (9-6).

Harborfields 2, Smithtown West 1: Kaia Nikolic scored the winning goal with 8:04 to go in the fourth quarter for Harborfields in Suffolk II. Juliet Gianfrancesco had a goal, and Riley Hannick had two assists. Defender Mackenzie Conversano made a defensive save to help preserve the win for the Tornadoes (12-2). Emma Sherwood scored for Smithtown West (6-9).

Miller Place 1, Bayport-Blue Point 0: Stella Musso scored the winner in the third quarter for Miller Place in Suffolk II. Sadie Hoffman had the assist for the Panthers (14-1). Delaney Bowen made seven saves for Bayport-Blue Point (13-2).

BOYS SOCCER

Kings Park 2, Islip 1: Evan Pike scored with four minutes remaining in the second half to give Kings Park the lead in Suffolk VII, clinching the Kingsmen’s first league championship since 1974, according to coach Sean Brady. Gavin Marzigliano also scored for Kings Park (12-3). Jack Whitehouse made eight saves for Islip (9-5-1).

Amityville 2, East Hampton 1: John Arango scored two second-half goals for Amityville in Suffolk VI. Aaron Brito scored for East Hampton (6-6-1), and Brandon Encalada made eight stops. Javier Newman assisted both goals for Amityville (9-3-1).

Port Jefferson 5, Riverhead Charter 4: Tomas Qepuri scored a hat trick, which included the winner off an assist from Sviatoslav Zaliniak with 12 minutes left for Port Jefferson in Suffolk IX. Jonathan Amaya scored two goals and had an assist for Riverhead Charter (1-12). Chase Davis had a goal and an assist for Port Jefferson (4-9).

GIRLS SOCCER

East Hampton 3, Copiague 3: Amy Torres scored two goals and Hailey Benenaula added another for East Hampton in its tie with Copiague in Suffolk VIII. Samantha Fuentes fired in two goals, Daniella Jimenez had two assists and Lailani Taro made 13 saves for Copiague (8-2-2). Leah McCarron made nine saves for East Hampton (5-8-1).
