Leslie Jablonski caused a turnover and Charlotte Erb scored the winning goal off a pass from Reese Marcario with 30 seconds left in the first overtime to lead Shoreham-Wading River to a 10-9 victory over Harborfields in Suffolk League II girls lacrosse. Marcario finished with one goal and three assists, Maddy Herr had four assists and Anabel Keegan and Grayce Kitchen each added three goals for Shoreham-Wading River (5-2). Olivia Eusanio made eight saves for Harborfields (6-3).
Freeport 13, Great Neck South 8: Ava Smith and Ciana Kunen each had four goals to lead Freeport (4-6) in Nassau IV. Ashley Zavala had three goals and Kiara Perez added two goals. Ella Covitt had two goals and two assists for Great Neck South (3-5).
MONDAY’S GAME
Plainview-Old Bethpage JFK 8, East Meadow 7: Heather Glykos scored the winning goal on a free position with 1:25 left in overtime to lead Plainview-Old Bethpage JFK (6-4) in Nassau III. Olivia Wong had three goals and one assist and Nicole Futerman had two goals and one assist. Alissa Mili made 14 saves for East Meadow (4-3).
BOYS LACROSSE
Half Hollow Hills 19, Sachem East 9: James Bruno had five goals and two assists and Anthony Raio had six goals and two assists to lead Half Hollow Hills (9-0) in Suffolk I. Zach Margo had two goals and five assists and Nico Ghicas added one goal, went 12-for-14 on faceoffs and had eight ground balls. Chris Freriks made 15 saves for Sachem East (1-8).
Wantagh 14, Cold Spring Harbor 8: Gianni Passaro made 19 saves to lead Wantagh (6-2) in Nassau I. Luke Martini had five goals and one assist, Devin Paccione had five assists and Dylan Martini had four goals and one assist. Matt Kammer made eight saves for Cold Spring Harbor (5-1).
BASEBALL
Riverhead 4, Westhampton 3: Camden Wallace went 3-for-4 with the winning RBI to lead Riverhead (6-4) in a non-league matchup. Relief pitcher Bryce Mackie earned the win, allowing three hits and no earned runs with five strikeouts.
Carey 9, Manhasset 0: Jayden Gigante went 2-for-2 with a home run to lead Carey (9-2) in Nassau AA-II. Mike Agostino went 3-for-3 with two RBIs and Mark Vera went 3-for-4.
MONDAY’S GAME
Centereach 2, Deer Park 1: Donavan Gilmartin drove in the winning run in the bottom of the seventh to lead Centereach (1-9) in Suffolk IV. Ryan Maida allowed one earned run in seven innings.
SOFTBALL
Miller Place 14, Mount Sinai 0: Laney Vomero went 2-for-3 with a double, a triple and five RBIs to lead Miller Place (10-0) in Suffolk VI. Emily Lopez scored two runs and had a home run and three RBIs.
MONDAY’S GAME
Calhoun 7, Herricks 2: Sophia Nicastro went 2-for-3 with a solo home run and an RBI double to lead Calhoun (8-3) in a Nassau III/IV crossover. Nicastro struck out three and allowed one run in four innings. Megan Hobdy struck out five in three innings of relief. Kaitlin Theodores went 4-for-4 and Ava Leo added two hits and an RBI.
FLAG FOOTBALL
Longwood 20, Half Hollow Hills 13: Delaney Israel threw for 260 yards and two touchdowns to lead Longwood (8-4) in Suffolk I. Claire Scalfani made eight receptions for 97 yards and a touchdown. Giselle Harris made an interception and scored a touchdown, Crystal Rivera had nine flag pulls and Danya Ahmed had six flag pulls. Maya Morkle had a 44-yard interception return.
