Otoniel Umana Alvarez scored two first-half goals before Michael Mannino scored the winner seven minutes into overtime off a pass from Carlos Alay to seal a 3-2 decision for Whitman boys soccer Friday against host Sachem North in Suffolk II.

Alex Del Priore and Jamith Jimenez added an assist apiece, and Jayden Castro made four saves for Whitman (9-5). Nick Rojas and Jason Faby both scored for Sachem North (5-7-2).

Patchogue-Medford 6, Floyd 3: Ryan Lazaridis had a hand in all six goals for Patchogue-Medford, scoring five and assisting on Matt Gilson’s score in a road win in Suffolk I. This is Lazaridis’ seventh multipoint game for the Raiders (9-4-2). Jeff Menjivar had four saves in goal. Liam Mehmel scored two goals for Floyd (8-6-1), and Jezai Kidd added another. Julian Podstupka had an assist.

Miller Place 2, Wyandanch 1: Chris Amendola scored the winning goal in the 58th minute to lead Miller Place (10-4-1) in Suffolk VII. Pablo Rubio also scored a goal for Miller Place (10-4-1). In net for Wyandanch (5-7-3), Jonathan Castro made five saves. Edson Jean scored for Wyandanch (5-7-3).

Northport 3, Smithtown East 1: Jace DiPalo, Owen Lucano and Thomas Fierro each scored one goal to lead Northport to the win and a subsequent Suffolk IV league title. Aidan Kelly made eight saves for the Tigers (9-4-1). Anthony Puleo scored off an assist from James Mazzitelli, and Nico Skartsiaris made seven saves for Smithtown East (7-5-1).

Thursday’s game

Baldwin 2, Mepham 1: Matt Alexandre scored a goal off an assist by Max Ascencio-Cueva with less than 15 seconds left to clinch a playoff spot for Baldwin in Nassau AA-I. Devonte Young scored in the first half for the Bruins (5-7-4). Jeronimo Norena scored off an assist from Giorgios Karousis for Mepham (7-6-3).

GIRLS SOCCER

Patchogue-Medford 1, Floyd 0: Ana Impellizzeri converted a penalty kick in the 68th minute for Patchogue-Medford in Suffolk I. Marie Cataldo (one) and Valerie Caruso totaled one save for the shutout for the Raiders (9-5). Ava Tiedemann made 17 saves for Floyd (4-10-1).

Thursday’s game

Hewlett 3, Clarke 2: Ariana Ciampone had 12 kills, eight digs and 10 aces for Hewlett in its five-set win, 21-25, 25-22, 25-11, 16-25, 15-9, in Nassau V. Noelle Nelson added seven kills and 11 aces, and Maeve Williams had 18 assists. Kayla Owens had two blocks on defense, with six kills and four aces on the attack for Hewlett (4-5). Fara Reese had seven kills for Clarke (4-8), and Victoria Palma had 15 assists.

BOYS BADMINTON

Roslyn 5, Great Neck North 2: Nicholas Chau defeated Jack He, 21-15, 21-18, at second singles to lead No. 9 Roslyn past No. 8 Great Neck North in the first round of the Nassau Tournament. Roslyn (14-1) will travel to top-seeded Jericho at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Great Neck North finished 0-15.
