2013 All-Long Island ice hockey
LONG ISLAND PLAYER OF THE YEAR: DANIEL PETERSON
St. Anthony's, Goalie, Senior
Peterson anchored the best defensive hockey team on Long Island, earning him Newsday Player of the Year honors. Peterson went 10-1-1 this season, allowing just 13 goals in 12 regular-season games (four shutouts), and shut teams down throughout the CHSHL playoffs to lead St. Anthony's to its second consecutive league title. In the postseason, Peterson posted a 4-0 record and allowed just six goals.
MATTHEW BERNOT
East Williston-Jericho, Forward, Senior
Bernot led the team in scoring with 43 goals and 35 assists, carrying the load offensively for a Wildcats squad that went undefeated on Long Island. Bernot had two goals in the Long Island championship victory over Connetquot-Sayville and two more prior to that in the Michelino championship clincher against Massapequa.
ADAM FOX
East Williston-Jericho, Defense, Freshman
Fox was a dominant offensive defenseman that led East Williston-Jericho to a Long Island championship, a 5-3 win over Connetquot-Sayville. Even as a freshman, Fox stood out as the best player whenever he stepped onto the ice.

Henry led Chaminade in scoring with 27 goals, 20 assists and a +38 plus/minus. He stepped up in the playoffs to carry the Flyers to the league title game.
