Jason Perez hit a go-ahead two-run single in the top of the sixth and thew the potential tying run out at home in the bottom of the seventh of Division’s 2-1 win over Bethpage in Nassau Conference AA-I baseball on Monday. Jefferson Biener pitched struck out four and allowed no earned runs in a complete game for Division (8-5). Will Lynn struck out six and allowed one earned run in a complete game for Bethpage (7-5).

Garden City 4, New Hyde Park 3: Evan Cabral hit a solo home run in the third inning to lead Garden City (11-2) in Nassau AA-II. Chris Desiderio struck out seven and allowed three hits in a complete game. Jason Torres struck out seven in a complete game for New Hyde Park (6-8).

East Islip 7, Deer Park 1: Thomas Costarelli went 3-for-3 with two doubles and struck out 11 in a two-hitter to lead East Islip (11-1) in Suffolk IV. Michael Tramaglini went 2-for-4 with two runs scored, John Talt singled in a run and Chris LaMacchia hit a double and a triple.

SOFTBALL

Farmingdale 2, Seaford 1: Ruby Seaman scored on a walk-off wild pitch in the eighth inning to lead Farmingdale (12-2) in Nassau I. Ava Fierst scored the tying run on an RBI groundout by Megan Scott in the seventh. Juliana Abbene struck out two in two hitless innings of relief to earn the win. Skyler Secondino hit a solo homer for Seaford (9-5).

Baldwin 10, South Side 6: Amanda Aguiluz hit a go-ahead RBI single in the bottom of the fifth to lead Baldwin (7-5) in Suffolk VI. Kennedy Thompson hit a tying two-run single earlier in the inning.

BOYS LACROSSE

St. Dominic 14, Plainview-Old Bethpage JFK 13: Logan Bracco made 23 saves, including one with three seconds left to secure the non-league win for St. Dominic (6-3). JJ Ramsay had six goals and two assists and Aiden Cromwell had five goals and two assists. Christopher Tripoli had four goals and one assist and Jake Ilardo made 14 saves for Plainview-Old Bethpage JFK (3-4).

Commack 16, Lindenhurst 15: James Pagano had eight goals and an assist to lead Commack (5-6) in Suffolk I. Zach Fischman added five goals and two assists. Ryan Murgatroyd had five goals and an assist for Lindenhurst (4-7).

SATURDAY’S GAME

Floyd 10, Smithtown East 9: Marc Pluchino scored the winning goal two minutes into the first overtime period to lead Floyd (7-3) in Suffolk I. Geo Alvarez capped Floyd’s five-goal fourth-quarter with the tying goal with four seconds left. Alvarez and Pluchino each had two goals and an assist and Dylan Reynolds made 10 saves. Luke DiMaria had three goals for Smithtown East (5-4).

GIRLS LACROSSE

Floral Park 12, Carey 8: Jessie Sandford scored five goals and Christina Vargas had three goals to lead Floral Park (4-7) in Nassau III. Mia Siminivich made five saves. Kaylin De Jesus made 16 saves for Carey (1-10).

SATURDAY’S GAMES

Garden City 10, New Canaan (CT) 9: Averie Smith had three goals and two assists and scored the winning goal with 32 seconds left in Garden City’s non-league win. Victoria Ottomanelli scored three goals and Kim Colucci added two goals for the Trojans (10-2).

Center Moriches 11, Hauppauge 9: Payton Noack scored five goals to lead Center Moriches (5-5) in Suffolk II. Emilie Hiller had three goals and an assist and Makayla Walsh had a goal and three assists. Riley Schildt made 10 saves. Brielle Bilello had three goals and Abigail DeSantis made 10 saves for Hauppauge (4-7).

SATURDAY’S GAME

Port Washington 27, Hempstead 13: Charlotte Cohen completed 15 of 23 passes for 126 yards and two touchdowns to lead Port Washington (5-3) in Nassau A. Juliet Paltrow caught three passes for 44 yards and a TD. Peri Cooper had eight flag pulls and a rushing TF and Vivian Muller added four flag pulls and an interception.
