Jessica Nodell scored the winning goal on a penalty corner with 6:24 left in overtime to lead Sachem North to a 1-0 win over Smithtown East in Suffolk I field hockey on Wednesday. Bella Scionti had the assist on the goal and Alexi Dutka made three saves for Sachem North (3-2). Riley Connelly made one save for Smithtown East (3-3).

Floyd 1, Patchogue-Medford 0: Jasmine Setelius scored off an assist from Gianna Trotta with 7:52 left in overtime to lead Floyd (3-3) in Suffolk I. Kalina-Sky Permenter made five saves in the shutout. Kate Comiskey made two saves for Patchogue-Medford (2-3).

TUESDAY’S GAMES

Pierson/Bridgehampton 3, Smithtown West 2: Lola Eldridge scored in the second quarter and won the game as the final shooter in a shootout for Pierson/Bridgehampton (3-2) in Suffolk II. Cali Wilson saved all five shots in the 1-0 shootout and assisted Ashley Stuckart’s goal. Sophia Perri made 11 saves.

Victoria Lisena and Madison Nuzzi each scored a goal and Nicole Cappock had two assists for Smithtown West (2-3).

Locust Valley 2, Port Washington 0: Samantha Amendolara and Tessa Matozzo each scored a goal to lead Locust Valley (1-4) in Nassau I. Braydan Hass made three saves and Lauren Baxter made one save in the shutout. Nicole McGuire tallied 12 saves for Port Washington (1-4).

BOYS SOCCER

East Meadow 5, Long Beach 2: Dylan Wauchope scored two goals and added an assist to lead East Meadow (3-3) in Nassau AA-I. Matthew Rivas made nine saves. Ryder Heitefuss and Gavin O’Grady each scored a goal for Long Beach (2-2-2).

TUESDAY’S GAMES

Whitman 2, Floyd 1: Michael Mannino scored on a penalty kick in the 23rd minute and Carlos Alay volleyed in a cross from Edward Flores in the 53rd minute to lead Whitman (3-3) in non-league. Jayden Castro made eight saves. Lucas Matz scored with five minutes left and DJ Blankenship made nine saves for Floyd (4-2-1).

Copiague 2, Huntington 1: Kevin Cruz scored two goals, including the winning goal with 35 seconds left in double overtime to lead Copiague (3-3) in non-league. Carlos Marroquin scored the tying goal in the second half for Huntington (2-4).

Plainview-Old Bethpage JFK 0, Port Washington 0: Owen Jarrell made five saves for Port Washington (2-0-2) and Isaac Kim made two saves for Plainview-Old Bethpage JFK (5-0-1) in a Nassau AAA match.

GIRLS SOCCER

Shoreham-Wading River 1, Bayport-Blue Point 0: Ava Gengler scored on a penalty kick in the second half to lead Shoreham-Wading River (3-1-1) in Suffolk VII. Morgan Lesiewicz made six saves. Alex Kaler made three saves for Bayport-Blue Point (4-1).

Valley Stream North 1, Valley Stream South 0: Gabby Giammarino scored off an assist from Khloe Genova-Ross in the sixth minute to lead Valley Stream North (2-4) in Nassau A/B-III. Julia Nuzzi made 12 saves. Saba Mir made seven saves for Valley Stream South (0-5).

Miller Place 1, Center Moriches 0: Natalia Soler scored off an assist from Violet Dvorsky in overtime for Miller Place (1-4) in Suffolk VII. Mirabella Altebrando made 13 saves. Ella Cerillo made five saves for Center Moriches (1-2-1).

Ward Melville 2, Sachem East 1: Breena Harrigan scored the winning goal on a free kick in the 46th minute to lead Ward Melville (4-0-1) in Suffolk II. Aliya Leonard scored the tying goal off an assist from Cassie Ward for the Patriots in the ninth minute after Stephanie Tator scored six minutes earlier for Sachem East (4-1).

Roslyn 0, Division 0: Antonia Bruno had 16 saves for Division (2-1-2) in a Nassau AAA/AA-III draw. Kaylee Rhine made five saves for Roslyn (2-1-2).

BOYS VOLLEYBALL

Eastport-South Manor 3, Sachem North 0: Ayden DesLauriers had 26 kills, two blocks and two aces to lead ESM (5-0) to a 25-20, 25-13, 25-17 win in Suffolk I. Ralph Bettner had 39 assists and 11 digs.

TUESDAY’S GAME

Lynbrook 3, Floral Park 1: Andrew Malinka had 19 kills, six digs and seven blocks to lead Lynbrook (4-1) to a 25-23, 25-20, 22-25, 26-24 win in Nassau II-C. Brady Rogan added 44 assists, seven digs and four kills and Joe Woods had 13 kills and five digs.
