Roundup: Paula Spatz and Chasity Byrd lead Roslyn in girls basketball
Paula Spatz had 14 points and Chasity Byrd had eight points, including a three-pointer with less than a minute left, to help lift Roslyn to a 51-46 win over Jericho in a Nassau Conference A-I girls basketball game Monday. Byrd's three gave Roslyn (1-5) a 47-46 lead. Callie Migden had nine points and nine rebounds in the win. Amanda Levenberg led Jericho with 14 points.
