Roundup: Victoria Piscopo helps Garden City win title
Victoria Piscopo scored a late second-half goal as Garden City won the Nassau Conference I field hockey regular-season title with a 2-1 victory over second-place Manhasset Monday. Piscopo's goal, with 15:18 left, gave the Trojans (14-1, 9-0) a 2-0 lead. Tara DeAngelo also scored for Garden City and Allison Miller made six saves.
Northport 2, Smithtown West 1: Eighth-grader Natalie Langella scored the winning goal with 4:18 left for Northport (4-9) in a Suffolk Division I contest. Erin O'Brien also scored and Sydney Line made two saves for Northport. BOYS SOCCER
Hauppauge 3, Huntington 2: P.J Contreras scored the winner with 2:11 left for Hauppauge (7-5-1) in Suffolk League IV. Brian Logan's goal tied the score and David Hwang made six saves for Hauppauge.
Syosset 2, Freeport 1: Scott DeBenedittis scored on a penalty kick in the 78th minute to win it for Syosset (11-2-1) in Nassau Conference AA-I. Daniel Greenberg tied the score in the 61st minute and Josh Haberman made three saves for Syosset.GIRLS SOCCER

Belinda Liu and Brenna Kenney defeated Taylor McNamara and Nadia Seradan, 6-2, 6-1, in first doubles for Wantagh. Hicksville 4, Bethpage 3:Victoria Rodriguez and Niharika Shah defeated Emily Fisher and Rena Madan in the deciding fourth doubles match, 4-6, 7-3, 6-3, for Hicksville (3-8) in Nassau Conference 3A.

Huntington 92, West Babylon 86:Erica Flor won the 200-meter freestyle in 2 minutes, 25.06 seconds and the 100 backstroke (1:13.06), and Noelle Harvey won the 100 breaststroke (1:26.50) and the 200-meter individual medley (2:56.06) to lead Huntington (3-2) in Suffolk League III.West Islip 95, Hauppauge 85:Carli Zukowski won the 200 IM in 2:25.89 and Devon Berdolt won the 100 freestyle in 57.76 to lead West Islip (4-1) in League III.

Plainview JFK 3, Port Washington 2: Jaehoon Han had 13 kills, one ace and two blocks, Nick Godino had nine kills, and Noah Smitelli had eight kills, two aces and 24 assists to lead Plainview JFK (10-3) to a 25-21, 23-25, 25-17, 19-25, 25-23 win in a non-league match.
