The Suffolk Sports Hall of Fame has announced its class of 2014, to be inducted May 2 at the Upsky Hotel in Hauppauge. The inductees:

Steve Borbet, Bay Shore High School track and field coach.

Fred Cambria, a current Northport resident who pitched for the Pittsburgh Pirates in 1970.

Ed Cinelli, Suffolk high school sports executive director since 2003.

Scott Craig, West Islip boys lacrosse coach.

Bill Edwards, longtime Hofstra softball coach.

Jim Metzger, three-sport standout at Half Hollow Hills East in the 1970s.

Tom Sabatelle, longtime Sachem coach, administrator and official.

Nick Schroeder, Brentwood three-sport athlete who was longtime coach and athletic director of Smithtown Central School District.

Doug Shanahan, star football and lacrosse player at Sachem High School and Hofstra University.
