Peighton McNulty and Isabel Taddeo dominated at first doubles as St. Anthony’s girls tennis remain undefeated after the Friars won a CHSAA state semifinal against Archbishop Molloy (Queens), 3-2, at the National Tennis Center in Queens Wednesday.

McNulty and Taddeo posted a 6-0, 6-2 victory, and Jenna Fomalari scored a 6-1, 6-3 at third singles. Madison Neary and Devan Lange added a 6-2, 6-2 win at second doubles. St. Anthony’s (9-0) will play for the CHSAA state title Thursday against Dominican Academy of Manhattan from the Archdiocese of New York at 4 p.m. at the National Tennis Center.

Half Hollow Hills East 5, Huntington 2: Callie Bornstein and Kayla Grochow won at third doubles, 6-2, 6-3, to lead No. 2 Half Hollow Hills East over No. 7 Huntington in the Suffolk large school quarterfinals. Hills East (13-2) will host No. 6 Commack in the county semifinals Thursday. Huntington finished 10-5.

Floyd 6, Half Hollow Hills West 1: Lydia Van Cott defeated Gunicha Kaur at first singles, 6-0, 6-1, to lead No. 4 Floyd over No. 12 Half Hollow Hills West in the quarterfinals of the large schools playoffs. Floyd (16-1) will face the winner of No. 1 Westhampton/No. 9 Harborfields on Thursday. Half Hollow Hills West finished 8-7.

Tuesday’s game

Smithtown East 2, North Babylon 1: Brandon Guidotti scored the winner after following up his own rebound with 5:27 left in the first overtime for Smithtown East (8-4-1) in Suffolk IV. Dylan Ebinger opened the scoring off an assist from Aidan Stylarek in the first half. Marcus Nazaire scored for North Babylon (2-13) off an assist from Christian Portillo.

GIRLS SOCCER

Glenn 2, Mt. Sinai 1: Molly Brignati scored the game-winning goal with 1:34 left to lead Glenn (5-7-1) in Suffolk VII. Christina Munch assisted Brignati and scored the opening goal. Glenn’s Nora Truncale made eight saves and teammate Siena Rzonca had six saves. Cameron Campo scored for Mount Sinai (6-7).

Hauppauge 2, Westhampton 1: Taylor Mileti and Regan Tursellino scored and Sarah Bento and Meghan Goutink each had an assist to lead Hauppauge (8-7-1) in Suffolk VI. Crisalyn Abruscato made nine saves. Simona Volpe scored and Ava Failla made eight saves for Westhampton (3-13).

Kings Park 4, Mattituck/Greenport/Southold 4: Gianna Zawol scored the tying goal for Kings Park (7-4-3) with seven minutes left, capping a three-goal second-half comeback to a draw in Suffolk VII. Ava Crocitto scored two goals, and Victoria Menzies added another. Casey Szczotka and Page Kellershon scored two goals each for Mattituck/Southold/Greenport (9-6-1).

Brentwood 2, Patchogue-Medford 0: Attiana Benitez and Lanai Quinones each scored to lead Brentwood (5-9) in Suffolk I. Zoey Chavez made five saves. Val Caruso made three saves for Patchogue-Medford (9-6).

Tuesday’s game

Portledge 2, Stony Brook School 0: Melina Von Toussaint’s two goals led No. 1 Portledge to its fifth consecutive PSAA title, defeating No. 2 Stony Brook School. Von Toussaint also scored three goals in last year’s title game. Everleigh Daniels had an assist and Maddy Jelloe made three saves. Portledge (16-1-1) will play its first game in the 12-team NYSIAS state tournament against a to-be-determined opponent next week. Emma Deden made 11 saves for the Stony Brook School (10-4).

FIELD HOCKEY

Baldwin 1, Oyster Bay 1: Amelia Scamell scored with 53 seconds left in the second quarter to tie the game for Oyster Bay (5-8-1) in Nassau II. Noelle Montick had an assist. Isabella Fleck scored on a second-quarter penalty stroke for Baldwin (3-9-1). After three minutes of seven-on-seven overtime, the game was called due to darkness.

GIRLS VOLLEYBALL

Longwood 3, Brentwood 2: Chidera Okocha had 12 kills and nine blocks to lead Longwood (7-9) to a 25-11, 25-22, 16-25, 20-25, 15-6 win in Suffolk I. Emma Curran had 35 digs and Maddie Gallo had 21 assists.

Tuesday’s game

Calhoun 3, Oceanside 2: Olivia Ruisi had 22 kills, 18 digs, two aces and two blocks to lead Calhoun (10-3-1) to a five-set win in Nassau III, 22-25, 25-22, 21-25, 25-23, 18-16. Katie DiPaola had a career-high 42 assists and 14 digs for the win.

GYMNASTICS

Tuesday’s game

West Islip 165.95, East Islip 160.55: Emily Ball placed first on vault (8.925) and Zoey Richardelli took first on beam (8.95) to lead West Islip (5-2) in Suffolk II. Sophia Pepe finished first on uneven bars (8.3) and floor exercise (9.25) for East Islip (3-6).
