The Islanders on Friday agreed to terms with defenseman Calle Odelius, a week after making him their top pick in the NHL Draft.

The smooth-skating Swede, 18, agreed to a three-year, $2.85 million entry-level deal, per CapFriendly.com, with a salary-cap hit of $870,000.

The 5-11, 185-pound Odelius had seven goals and 23 assists in 43 games for Djugardens Jr. in the Swedish Junior League last season. The Islanders, without a first-round pick, selected him at No. 65, the last selection of the second round.

The Islanders will conduct a prospect development camp before September’s training camp and Odelius is expected to attend both.
