Islanders schedule for 2024-25 NHL season

The Islanders start with a lot of games on the road and finish with a lot of matches against Metropolitan Division rivals.
The NHL released its full schedule for all 32 teams on Tuesday as the Islanders head into their fourth season at UBS Arena. And while their season opener will be at home, 13 of the next 19 games are on the road.
The Islanders host the Utah Hockey Club — the relocated Arizona Coyotes — on Oct. 10 to begin the season and then finish the regular season at Columbus on April 17. The Islanders' first trip to Utah is Jan. 11.
The Islanders’ longest homestand of the season is seven games from Jan. 14-28, and they have a five-game road trip from Nov. 12-21. There is a two-week break for the 4 Nations Face-Off best-on-best tournament between Feb. 9-22.
They face the rival Rangers four times, at Madison Square Garden on Nov. 3 and March 3 and at UBS Arena on Feb. 25 and April 10.
The schedule features 12 back-to-back games and three afternoon games at UBS Arena, against Barry Trotz’s revamped Predators on March 1, Calgary on March 22 and the Capitals on April 6.
That match against the Capitals starts a run of six of seven against divisional opponents to finish the season.
