Isles, Pens talk potential retaliation

 The last game between the Islanders and Penguins was a chippy one, without question.

Before Rick DiPietro was dropped with Penguins goaltender Brent Johnson's monster left--DiPietro is out with facial fractures and knee swelling as a result--Blake Comeau was concussed by a blindside hit from Max Talbot.

 Comeau is still out of the lineup and that fact is not lost on any of the Islanders.

"It's definitely in the back of our minds," said tough guy Zenon Konopka. "Comeau is part of our family. We're definitely not happy about it and we're not happy he's been out."

"Karma has a way of working itself out--in life and in hockey--and usually you cross paths. Obviously, Mr. Cooke, we're not going to cross his path tonight, but there will be a few out there and we'll see what happens."

Recently-recalled Micheal Haley, who leads Bridgeport both in goals and in PIMs, wasn't even on the team at the time of the game, but he's done his homework.

"I know what happened,"  Haley said.

Dan Bylsma also acknowledged the bad blood that could potentially blow over tonight.

"I think about a lot of things before the game and that's one thing I'm prepared for from this team. There were some comments post game last game that we noticed and I wouldn't be surprised if there's some intent around our goaltender and in that area."

"We're going to play our hockey game, try to win this hockey game but we're going to be prepared for everything the Islanders throw at us."
