Matt Moulson was nearly speechless after learning he was named the NHL's First Star of the week. He scored six goals and added an assist as the Islanders went 2-0-1.

Moulson became the first NHL player this season to score four goals in one game when he tallied the hat trick plus one against Dallas. He leads the Isles with 13 goals and is third on the team in points with 19.

"I don't know, I've never had this before, so I'm not sure,'' Moulson said of the honor. "I probably owe a lot of it to my linemates, so it was a good week for the team, that's the biggest thing.''
