Henrik Lundqvist took home the Vezina Trophy as the NHL's top goaltender at the league's awards show in Las Vegas Wednesday night, the first Ranger to win the award since 1986.

"It feels amazing to be on the same list as Patrick Roy, Dominik Hasek, Martin Brodeur," Lundqvist said. He is the first Ranger to win it since John Vanbiesbrouck shared the award 26 years ago.

Lundqvist won by a landslide, getting 17 of the 30 first-place votes of the league's general managers. The Rangers goaltender thanked his organization, but saved a special nod for goaltender coach Benoit Allaire, "the best goalie coach in the world."

Lundqvist did lose out on the Hart Trophy as league MVP to the Penguins' Evgeni Malkin. Malkin garnered 144 of the 149 first-place votes from the Professional Hockey Writers' Association. Malkin also won the Ted Lindsay Award as MVP voted by his fellow players, and the Art Ross Trophy for leading scorer.

Islanders wing Matt Moulson, his team's only nominee, did not win the Lady Byng Award as the most gentlemanly player despite only six penalty minutes this season. Panthers defenseman Brian Campbell, who also had six penalty minutes while leading the league in time on ice, won the award, the first defenseman to do so since 1954. Moulson finished third in the voting, behind the Oilers' Jordan Eberle.

Rangers coach John Tortorella lost out to Blues coach Ken Hitchcock for the Jack Adams Award as coach of the year, voted on by the NHL Broadcasters Association. The Rangers coach finished a distant second with five first-place votes to Hitchcock's 63.

Among the other award winners were the Senators' Erik Karlsson, who won the Norris Trophy as top defenseman just a day after signing a seven-year, $45.5-million contract; the Avalanche's Gabriel Landeskog, who took home the Calder Trophy as rookie of the year, and the Bruins' Patrice Bergeron, who won the Selke Trophy as top defensive forward.

Canadiens forward Max Pacioretty won the Masterton Trophy, given to the player who demonstrates perseverance and dedication to the game. Pacioretty returned this season from a fractured neck suffered on a hit from the Bruins' Zdeno Chara in 2010-11.
