Rangers' inconsistency upsets Dubinsky
Amid all the frustration in the locker room about another close game - the Rangers' last 12 games have been decided by one or two goals - Brandon Dubinsky was upset about the team's inconsistent work ethic.
"Honestly, I don't care if it's a one or 10 [goal differential], it's a loss," Dubinsky said. "I thought we outworked them today; I don't think we outworked New Jersey the other night. I'm upset because the way we played today is the way we need to play, but consistently."
Dubinsky, who did not record a shot on goal, also was surprised that the Flyers were not whistled for any penalties in a gritty game. "Especially that team," he said. It was the third time in Flyers' history that they have gone an entire game without a penalty and the first since Nov. 26, 2000.
