The Rangers’ deepest playoff run in seven years continues to generate extraordinary demand on the secondary ticket market.

TickPick, a resale site that lists prices with all fees included, said that as of Thursday morning the average purchase price for Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Final on Friday at Madison Square Garden was $642, and the lowest, or “get-in,” price was $459.

The lowest-priced ticket for Game 2 listed on StubHub on Thursday morning, including fees, was $547.

The Rangers defeated the Lightning, 6-2, on Wednesday in Game 1 of the series.

TickPick said the average price for Game 2 at the Garden was 105% more expensive than for Game 2 of the Oilers-Avalanche Western Conference Final in Denver and 143% more expensive than the get-in price for Oilers-Avalanche.
