Howie Rose, Josh Lewin to return as Mets' radio broadcasters on WOR
The Mets and Clear Channel Media, their new radio partner, announced Thursday that Howie Rose and Josh Lewin will move with the team from WFAN to WOR for the 2014 season.
The news was expected, but earlier in the offseason Clear Channel had considered former players to replace Lewin before settling on having him back. Rose will begin his 19th season calling Mets games and Lewin his third.
WOR will carry 15 spring training games, beginning Feb. 28 against the Nationals.
There was no announcement regarding a reporter for pre- and postgame coverage. Ed Coleman is not expected back in that role.
