And you thought that silly advertising trick of creating an awkward viewing scenario involving rhythm-less people trying to rap ended in the late 1980s? Guess again.

Here we are in 2012, rap music fully engrained in pop culture, and Dallas Cowboys owner and general manager Jerry Jones tries to go all hip-hop on us.

DJ Kool Herc, Kool Moe Dee, Rakim, Chuck D and KRS-One are all rolling over in their graves right now, yet they're all still alive. That's how woeful this commercial is.

But when you're Jones and you own "America's Team" -- and quite a few handfuls of Papa John's franchises in Texas and around the country -- perhaps you can pay a few people with cameras and microphones to record you rapping about your business ventures.
