Monica McNutt will be the primary analyst on Knicks radio broadcasts this season, MSG Networks announced on Tuesday.

McNutt will call the majority of games, which are carried on ESPN New York’s 98.7 FM, with other analysts such as Alan Hahn and Wally Szczerbiak working some games.

“I love talking Knicks basketball and can’t wait to get going,” McNutt said in the news release.

McNutt also works as a pregame and postgame analyst for some Knicks games on MSG Networks. She has contributed to MSG’s Knicks coverage since 2019. She has appeared in a variety of roles on ESPN and on other national outlets.

McNutt played four seasons of basketball at Georgetown, from which she graduated in 2011.

She primarily will work with play-by-play man Ed Cohen on Knicks radio, but Cohen will miss some time at the start of the season because of a minor medical issue. Don La Greca and Pat O’Keefe will fill in.

“Monica is one of the most talented basketball analysts around, and we’re excited to have her expand her role at MSG Networks and join the 98.7 ESPN New York Knicks radio team,” Kevin Marotta, MSG Networks’ senior vice president, marketing and content, said in a news release. “Knicks fans respect her work and basketball acumen, which she’ll continue to provide on our pre- and postgame shows as well.”
