Stan Fischler to be celebrated Tuesday night on MSG Networks’ coverage of Isles game

MSG Networks will celebrate Stan Fischler’s 40 years of covering the Islanders with “40 Years of Fischler” on Tuesday night, when the Islanders host the Hurricanes on MSG Plus.
The special programming will begin during the pregame show at 6:30 p.m., with play-by-play man Howie Rose recalling his favorite Fischler moments.
During the night, Fischler, who turns 84 on Thursday, will be celebrated with video tributes from colleagues and celebrities, including NHL commissioner Gary Bettman.
MSG Networks currently features various Fischler-related content on its website.
