'The Blind Side' as Best Picture? Oy

I have nothing against the nice people who made the left tackle movie "The Blind Side," which the WatchDog pups and many, many other people enjoyed very much en route to well over $200 million in box office receipts.
I even can live with Sandra Bullock getting an Oscar nomination for her strutting, over-the-top performance as Leigh Anne Tuohy, since I have learned from people who know Ms. Tuohy that if anything Bullock's portrayal was understated.
But a Best Picture nomination? Sorry, but no. That's a bit much, even with the expansion from five nominees to 10.
I have seen four other nominees so far, and "The Blind Side" is not in their stratosphere.
