Yankees games that in recent years have been seen on Channel 11 (WPIX) this season will switch to Amazon Prime Video, an industry source familiar with the plan said.

YES Network has not yet announced its 2022 schedule, but when it does, 21 games are bound for Amazon and none for PIX11.

The change, first reported by the New York Post, is the latest development in the rapid growth in streaming live sports.

The Mets' game against Washington on April 8 kicks off a new slate of Friday night games on Apple TV+ that also will feature at least two Yankees games.

The YES Network will produce the Amazon games, as it did the WPIX games.

Amazon is a part owner of YES. Its Yankees games only will be seen in YES' geographical footprint.

SNY will continue to farm out some Mets games to Channel 11.
